Die laufenden Kosten einer Luxusyacht sind 5 - 10% des Kaufpreises im Jahr, deshalb verstehe ich nicht was das mit "Nie wieder Miete" soll ... . Einmal volltanken (1600l) und 3000 Euro sind weg, die nach 500 Meilen wieder aufgefüllt werden müssen. Aber zumindest hat man sich die Miete gespart.

Im Gegensatz zu Landfahrzeugen haben Boote keine Bremse. In der Praxis bremst sich ein Motorboot aufgrund des vergleichsweise hohen Wasserwiderstandes sofort spürbar ab, wenn man das Gas zurücknimmt. Ist das Boot dann langsamer geworden, kann man es durch Einlegen des Rückwärtsgangs vollends zum Stehen bringen

Als Alternative zu einem Haus/Wohnung braucht man dann einen Liegeplatz. Da zahlt man aber in der Regel wieder Miete dafür.

... übrigens ... häufig sieht man in Videos über Yachten (Villen), dass NICHT die Hersteller von nautischen Ausrüstungen "erwähnt" werden ABER auf die der KÜCHEN-Ausstattung HINGEWIESEN wird !!! ;-) ... ist es MIELE (Made in Germany - Siemens, Liebherr, etc.) wird EXTRA darauf hingewiesen, ist es "etwas anderes", stellt sich der Moderator häufig (UK, F, I, USA, etc.) VOR das Typenschild !!! ;-) ... somit "erkannt" man den "Unterschied" zwischen einem "luxoriösen Boot" und einer LUXUS-Yacht. ;-)

Sicher Nein, das geht schief. Der Anker ist da um das Schiff auf einem Platz (auf dem Wasser) zum Parken.
Fahren und Anker werfen dürfte ein Fiasko werden, es ist schon richtig, Gas weg, Schiff sinkt in die Wellen und dann eventuell Rückwärtsgang.
Ein Containerschiff hat einen Bremsweg von ca. 2 km und dies nur bei Maschinen Stop.

Na klar, weil Menschen, die sich das Ding kaufen können, ganz sicher noch irgendwo zur Miete leben... Darüber hinaus wird die Miete dann in Liegeplatzgebühren umbenannt und ist meistens sogar höher ! Manchmal hilft Denken ! Erst ist es ein Boot...20 Sekunden später ist es ein Schiff ? WAS DENN NUN ?
