Look into something like a pedal commander. Not only does it smoothen out the ride on these slow cars, but also might have an antitheft feature that disables your throttle. I run it, just not for antitheft. Super easy install and doesn't void warranty
1 other thing. Make sure theres coolant in it. If the coolant temp sensor is dry from lack of use the car won't fire. Someone asked me to restore a Prodrive STI that had sat in a garden for 4 years and when I took the top off the header tank there was stuff growing in the tank/coolant system so it wouldnt start or bleed up properly.
The car wont crank if its the immobiliser (stock). Take off the hose from the fuel filter to inlet manifold and put it in a 1L coke bottle or similar, then prime the pump. If fuel flies out its an ignition issue, which is usually the crank sensor (I have loads here). Crank and no spark/fire isn't immob related if you can hear the pump and it delivers.
Any joy yet? Worth a wee check, the air pump and the 2 valves that connects. Condensation can build up and they can hold water, combined with carbon build up the valve can seize open or closed
Hi, yeah I managed to get it going eventually. It turned out to be clogged injectors, I drained the old fuel, put in new stuff and with a bit of easy start it went no problem and now fires every time
@@DavidMcBay fraid so. they'll do the job but are over priced for what they are and most owners complain of misfires running them vs PFR6b or 7b. I've pm you on Facebook.
Ah man thanks for your video; I saw hoping it was easier access to the spark plug cause I want to remove it to prevent thieves overnight

Ah nvm this about an sti. Could still get something like it for antitheft only

Nice one, good to know
Wrong plugs, you should have fitted NGK PFR7B. Those you've bought are not ideal for an Impreza I'm afraid.
Really? i got these direct from one of the scooby world or net websites and this is what was recommended to me.
