Thank you! I have an 2008 Ridgeline that is like new. I've never tackled this on a Honda before. This gave me confidence to move forward and bring it back to life tomorrow.
You know, all mechanics are hoarders by trade. Maybe you can increase your knowledge and rebuilder stock like you are doing with the control arm bushings and buy a solenoid and rebuild that starter to have on the shelf as a backup. Because you never know. Aftermarket new is not always the same as new and good oem.
How could I determine if my starter is bad on my 09 Ridgeline?I have a no start, it chugs and chugs but doesn't turn. (New battery & spark plugs, fuses good). Thx! Love your content.

I have an old corolla and I know the starter will sing one day
Did this resolve your intermintent no crank issue?
Compared to Denso remanufactures how good is TRQ starter IYO?
You should rebuild that starter yourself , you can buy the internals online
