This is great because I wrote out "vibe: relaxing" on a Post-It while I was putting the edit together! If you only knew how "unrelaxing" parts of the round were. I was literally running between shots over the final 6 holes in order to finish ahead of sunset. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Glad you liked it. I wanted to try something other than shot-by-shot narration for a change. It's a little cheesy, or maybe even VERY cheesy, but it was fun putting it together.
What's for lunch, Mike? Love all the tips and positive thoughts you put out on this video! Looks like a perfect day for golf out there. Way to grind it out!
Mark, I kept it simple and had leftover tri-tip for lunch! This round was actually an evening round after work. I teed off at 6pm and managed to get all 18 in by running down the fairways between shots. It was muggy (Oregon muggy, NOT Georgia muggy), so I was a sweaty mess and chugging water like a fish the whole way. My hands were sweaty and several of my wayward shots were due to grips slipping, but I wasn't interested in putting my rain gloves on because I was operating a camera at the same time. 18 holes in 2hrs 15minutes while recording every shot. It was exhausting!
@@MikeGolfsOregon I've played many of times in those muggy days. Its crazy when you dry off your hands and they are instantly covered in sweat before you grab the grip. I've heard those rain gloves work really well in these types of conditions. I have yet to try it thou.
I've only had to try it once and they worked great, just like when it's raining. I have the standard FootJoy Raingrip gloves and can attest that the wetter the get the better they grip. It's like magic.
Don’t overthink it, is advice I try and tell myself all the time. Doesn’t mean I listen though 🤣. This game we love so much can be so frustrating. Had my worst round in like 4 years the last time I was out, and don’t feel like I played that bad 🤷🏼♂️.
I feel this! My scores have inflated by 7-8 strokes a round lately and I feel like I'm playing BETTER than I ever have! Whatever, I'm totally hooked so I'll just keep swinging away.
That was perhaps one of the most relaxing golf videos I have watched on TH-cam.

you make it look so easy!
I’m not sure what I’m making look easy, but I’ll take the compliment! Thanks for watching, Matt
Such an amazing video! Loved the music, the commentary AND the round. Awesome job!!
Wow, thank you so much for the feedback! I make these for the fun of it, so it's great to hear when other people enjoy them. Thanks again.
Always commitment and time. Loved the video! Keep it up. Mental game is always the battle on the course.

Lovely job
