I just saw these guys last night in Wausau Wisconsin...HOLY SHIT!!!! At 70 years old,they can STILL ROCK THE HOUSE!!!!
They sound the same today as they did when I saw them in 77, and Robin Zanders voice, I have no words for his greatness

Robin Zander is frontman Vince Niel wishes he can be.
Always loved this band. Lead singer was so hot!! They came to crossville Tn years ago. I’m talking 20-25 years. I couldn’t even believe they would come here to such a small backwoods hole in the wall. We are much bigger now but anyways they put on one hell of a great show. I got to get on stage . Strum the guy in the hats guitar while they were playing a song . He then gave me his guitar pick which I still have to this day . I’m glad they r still tog and all doing well .

Taylor's vocals are obviously better than mine, but his vocals prove just how great of a singer Robin really is.
Saw the boys 1979 in Nürnberg, Germany on The WHO golden summernight festival. They were not very well known at that time. But man, what hell of a show they put up that day. Fan ever since. Awesome legacy👌💪.

I saw Trick do “Heart on the Line” in July. So it has been in the set list from time to time.
Cheap trick is a great band especially live.Would be nice to get Bun E back.

Disgrace it wasn't done differently. Bun E was burned out though. As great as Zander is ,I feel that Bun E was the 2nd most important member of the band as far as his distinct musical contribution went. Can recognize most of CT songs by just the drums. No other drummer comes close in that aspect in my opinion.

Should be opening with that great song, you are right. I remember taking my friend and son to see Crosby Stills Nash and Young playing at the Red Rocks. Was an awesome show, one of the best I ever heard, but was so disappointed they didnt do Suite Judy Blue Eyes.

My fave band but I think on Shes tight that Robin was pretending to sing a couple lines but his son, the extra gtr player, actually sang them. He was backing Robin quite a bit.

Cheap Trick was my first arena concert 1978 Oakland Auditorium. The LIVE at Budokan album was still pretty fresh and the show was FKN amazing even if they were opening for the Doobie brothers. I was just 16 and I went alone to the show so you know it was/is a big deal in the influences of my life! Bun E Carlos was There. You still sound great guys. Thanks for the memories.

There are a lot of bands from back in the day where they have one or zero original members left and have more or less become tribute bands......Cheap Trick is not one of them.
god i miss seeing these guys ( with bun ) in the bars in bars. those lean years were the absolute best for us true long time fans. not the dream police / i wany you to want me crowd, but the ones that were there every step of the way thru good times and bad times. that was the time to be a trick fan. not now, not after what they did to bun. DONT GET ME WRONG . the guys knew they were on the edge of a huge resurgence and bun was a total bitch about the expenses of meeting that surge. so i can see him being siedelined, but just being told he was no longer needed and asked if dax could use his set was way out of line.
Well at least they don't have to worry about moving around so fast it'll blur the camera anymore.

They have not lost a step sound wise! Although Neilson doesn’t jump around the stage as crazily as he used to. But he’s doing well considering he’s at least 60 now. They all are! Zander sounds the same to me. One of rocks best and last voices! When they’re done there’s no one around to replace them.

Rick's got a good sense of humor, and so does the bassists Tom Petersson. "Rick: Hey Tom how many groupies does it take to change a lightbulb?" Tom: "Why would we have them do that?" 😆

That is exactly what live shows used to sound like in the 70s. People don’t realize that the quality of sound back then sounded nothing like today. Perhaps, you can enjoy reliving what people regularly heard at rock concerts in the 1970s…
