    I used to think "The Road to 20..." meant the 2024 Olympics but I just realized it could also mean the road to running a 20.0 200m.... You are making progress toward that goal.

    Since we are in lock down and it’s cold in Canada. I haven’t been able to run as such I will live vicariously through you and your training. Man I wish I was in Jamaica.
    Awesome video. Keep up the good work.

    i see you always doing multi hurdle jumps. You are really good at them. Could it be one of the best plyometric exercise wich transfers to sprinting. Because it's vertical and horizontal power.

    i feel like your very high in the blocks and don’t bring your hips through when you tall. that’s just my observation from 7years of running track. but all is well your rapid love your content and keep up the grind

    • @philamguambomb
      @philamguambomb 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree. He has long torso, shorter legs(lower hips) I think he should set his blocks closer to the line(maybe his front knee touching the line). I could break it down more and explain but I am too lazy at the moment lol.
      In short term he can utilize his shorter legs, power and rapid turn over to have a quicker 10m and drive phase.

    Am I only one that thinks you swith spikes very often? I know that you have one pair for training and one pair for competing, but in this video alone i saw 3 spikes and i remember like 5 spikes just in this season? Why you change your spikes so much. And also when you complained about 13 degrees i was like boii we get 0 and snow here and then you said that you have some competitions in september and i was like "understandable have a great day" meme

    • @hovejoha
      @hovejoha  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I switch quite often because I use them a lot, and they get worn out, holes.. etc. Could manage with less to be honest.
      The Adidas spikes I bought as a gift for myself after a PB, as I have wanted to try them out for several years.
      Have you ever ran a championship/track meet in 0 degrees and snow? It's not like we don't have bad weather here in the winter lol, even rained about 8/10 days of last summer, hahah.

    • @intarsilgsalietis3661
      @intarsilgsalietis3661 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hovejoha I haven't really competed in freezing weather but i have done some time trials, we train outside now because the covid thing got bad here and we can't train inside and we can't have meets either. Yall probably have colder winters cause Norway is closer to north pole and i thought 13 degrees are insane but i didn't know that it was in summer and yea i got really comfused how yall still competing outside but in the end everything made sense.

    • @hovejoha
      @hovejoha  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@intarsilgsalietis3661 Aah, your comment makes more sense now, hehe. I often put dates In the bottom left so it's easier to keep track ;).
      Hope you'll get to train inside soon, I'm lucky that we've been able to during this autumn!

    Your genetics is ideal for swimming, not shure is it perfect for running, becuse on a first eye you have shorter legs than your upper body. It's just from a scientific side, don't find this as a offence. 🖐🏼😄

    • @hovejoha
      @hovejoha  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think I have more of a Weightlifter body (because of my short arms) ;).

    • @haroldstoneking3482
      @haroldstoneking3482 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shorter legs are built for force. Sprinting is about force application of the feet to the ground. Thus you have good sprinting genetics.
