For people staying that the UPI project was started under Congress government, you need to understand that if not for the initiatives taken by the current BJP government, this project will sit in cold storage for the next 20 years. Then after other countries introduce, we will try to catch up. Even the former finance minister under Congress P Chidambaram was laughing at BJP that this digitization of India will never happen.
Everyone please have the decency to appreciate the hard work done by this government. Lot's of budget allotment to keep this system free and also partnered with other countries to make UPI international. It's not because of Jio internet that UPI took off. Get your facts right.

It's amusing to listen to their last 2 minutes as well..."More than 70 percent Indians do not have access to Internet" "and to end the same showing the Mobile on a Bamboo Pole to access internet"...I can smell something Burning...oh it's the BBC!!! 😂
FACTUALLY INCORRECT STATEMENT. Internet 4 G and even 5 G is available in forward areas of Arunachal, Sikkim and Leh Ladakh as well. The reporter has done an excellent survey to choose a spot in the middle of the forest to make this statement.
Even as per Statista, India has more than 50 % population using internet while accessibility is more than 64%.
Maybe the BBC can please revisit the Statistics.

    BBC :- what 😮 how 😠 when 😫😫😫

BBC :- but it's our policy, we can't show India in progressive way. , okay do one thing find the remotest village where the internet is not working properly or have less network.
BBC:- but their internet is working properly almost everywhere...
BBC:- I don't know take jammers with you or something but I need a video where we can show India is incompetent in digital transaction.
    Report:- hmm😔 okay..
