These videos are almost always at around 50% likes to views. It takes no time at all. It costs nothing. It helps get the channel recommended to more people. Which means more views, and likely more subscribers. Maybe the creator isn't interested in making money from TH-cam, but it would still help subsidise the cost of the nuts they feed the squirrels, and also means that more people get to enjoy this awesome content. There is literally no other channel on the platform that brings me such peace and enjoyment.

I've noticed my backyard squirrels prefer walnuts in the shell to shelled walnuts. The walnuts in the shell also help them to keep their teeth worn down.
Cutie is special. I also feed about 4 squirrels that come in my yard every day. I give water too. I only have one that will come up to the sliding glass door. She will put her little hand on the door and wait for me. She is definitely my favorite. I call her squirrel baby.💖

It's the middle of summer and food is plentiful (especially at your window 🙂 ) yet these squirrels are still thinking long term. They are taking nuts in shells and hiding them as a winter store. There must be dozens of nut caches out there!

I have around 9 that I started feeding about 8 moths ago. I put about 2 cups of peanuts on my deck, and they've only recently become comfortable with me watching them up close. I open my door and lay on the floor to enjoy watching them. I'm HOPING that by the end of this year they will allow me to feed them by hand, but my goal is to keep them FED. I have one female that will come close to the door (close enough to put her hand on the door frame and look at me as if to say "hello") before going in for food. Such WONDERFUL and misunderstood creatures, that are capable of bringing joy to our lives!!
