As much as I love D2, Warframe Fashion is just better! Unless Bungie add some of these options, it will never have better fashion I will always be a D2 Fashion channel, but if you want to see more Fashion Frame leading up to Final Shape then leave a like!
More fashion frame content, please! Also you didn't mention ephemeras, which are such an awesome layer of warframe fashion. Plus some skins come with auxiliary armor that you can also layer with the standard armor, syandanas, ephemeras, and signas
warframe also has something called void shell skins. these are skins for the playable characters that allow you to not only change the colors, but the texture materials in addition. I have made my own Voruna, Wereolf warframe for those that don't know, look like she's made of wood and plastic. A few minutes later, I made her look like she was made of polished titanium with finely preserved snake scale hide in her softer regions. My rhino is made of cracked and craggy stone, and I still colored him more brightly than Las vegas in Easter for point of making fun of my fellow titan brethren who love crayola a little too much.
the thing is i used to know what i was doing back in 2015, but coming back there are so many new things and systems that are different to what they used to be, will take me a while to adjust @@Clarity_Control
But Bungie is lazy and greedy, so all of these ideas would be HEAVILY monetized to the point of absurdity, if they even bothered to put some effort into the game.
The Bungie management/suits are the worst perpetrator, but i won't diminish that Bungie devs can sometimes be lazy, but let's face it we all can be. Still, Warframe fashion blows away anything you will probably *EVER* see in Destiny

It’s crazy how few games have the color palette system, and the newer voidshell system with the material changes for each slot? Crazy. The only game with more detail I’ve played it armored core, where you can change the material regardless of the skin, you have your own custom decals, everything. Even that also lacks the attachment and syandana (cloak) system, so it doesn’t even use everything Warframe has.
I know for a fact, more than a third of my hours in Warframe were and will be spent customizing. I want to do cool shit at the highest level while looking cool no matter what I’m using.

Warframe is probably the only game were I come back to play it every few months then get bored of it within a week the entertainment doesn't last for me but the fashion is peak Edit: trading is the only thing left I enjoy about the game
That's the problem with warframe. You have stuff to do for a little while but once you've done them there's nothing to do. I love warframe but i wish it had a more fun endgame. Destiny while isn't perfect has a way better end game as a whole. Both games are great in their own way.
@@cerebralassassin2185 What i find interesting in Warframes end game is the variation of it, while destiny 2 has Raids, Trials, Dungeons/Nightfalls/Lost sector and other stuff. All just seem to lead to farming God rolls or spiky stats what saves all of those is just the RNG of loot. But warframes End game are Eidolons, Profit taker, Exploiter Orb, Archon Hunt, Arbitration, Steel path, Netracells, Void Cascade, Rivens(Kuva farming), Sorties, Khal Missions, The Circuit/Duviri, Relic cracking. All of these can be classified as end game via this definition "the final or late stage of a game when a few pieces remain” The problem lies in the fact that when people mention end game, they talk about difficulty, when in warframe it's backwards where difficulty is only on the first 100 hours. The connecting line on all of the things i said are the endless optimizations, Where in destiny 2, you can optimize all you want that Cabal will still almost or completely one shot in melee range. What warframe lacks isn't End Game but difficulty/cooperative and how hard it is to implement when almost everyone is so used to running at Mach 3-7 and plays their keyboard like it's a Piano performance. Raids are still up in the air and have no plans of being added back for good reason since it will probably be ran by 3-4 Titanias and Volt.
If I could "flip" shaders, it would probably be the best thing they can do. "I really like this shader, but I want the metal part to be black instead of the pants" so you just "flip" the shader and change what color goes on which part of the armor. That is probably the most realistic approach.

Not just cuz of my own inferred bias, but it's nice to see to see other communities recognize the sheer amount of fashion that's possible in Warframe is nice. And your Rhino Prime looked dope dude, which fun fact on some Rhino skins cover the entire frame in a single tone metallic color affected by the color palettes you use. My Rhino Prime is like a dull grey uninteresting shade but when I use his Iron Skin ability (the action that does the metallic cover I mentioned) I turn my dull grey matte Rhino into a bright pink shining abomination and it's hilarious to me. Thanks for the exposure for the fashion of Warframe man, I'll probably tune in to see some of the Destiny fashion in the future. Your Guardian looks dope I'm interested to see other looks you've done. Art is art afterall and should be appreciated.
I'd be quite happy watching Warframe fashion included here. There doesn't need to be a competition between the two games, because you can like and/or disagree with two games and still play them.
One of the main things (and id imagine quite simple?) I wish they would change in destiny is, I wish your character would be displayed at all times with primary weapon (as opposed to which ever weapon is in the kinetic slot) its about time they changed this, or give us the option (kinetic/ or primary)
i would love a second channel that is dedicated to warframe fashion, i wouldn't even mind if it were just a monthly showcase from the discord or something like that
Warframe is far superior when it comes to fashion frames. They have a whole community dedicated to creating complete skins, attachments and weapons, and submitting them to be voted on for actual skins in game. Every individual part of Armor, attachment and Tenno can be customized. But i think it's far too late for Bungie to implement something along those lines rather, i think it would be easier to have complete exotic skins and not just exotic piece of armor. Also they should think about the option of being able to rotate the shader, the colors are already there and would instantly give more options for customizations without changing much at all.

@@Krypz the thing about warframe fashion I feel is with how much freedom there is, so many people have just AWFUL fashion, in my eyes at least. Don’t always consider that unique=good. Very mismatched colors, themes that don’t properly go with the frame they are playing, atrocious attachments, egregious syandanas, list can go on but my point is destiny players have a finer taste when it comes to making sets just based of my experience playing both games.
For auras, it goes deeper. There are ephemeras that have different effects. For example, your body emits smoke or is wrapped in flames, or your steps leave sparks of lighting. Most of them are at the earnd in the game too
@Krypz it should also be noted that anything labeled as "tennogen"(has a blue Dimond with a hammer) is community made and buying it will support the Creators
@@Krypz some of the cool looking ephrmeras can be earned from events or bought from vendors/syndicates using standing, which is basically xp from doing bounties or Syndicate specific missions
I tried to get into Destiny 2 fashion but Jesus H, everything was so pricy it was INSANE. Truly. My friend willingly put more money so had more stuff and looked often cooler and I had to look cool just with free stuff, which I'm ok with but there's so little free customization that looks good it's crazy. Warframe let's me look cool af for free!
One of the biggest things that warframe has over destiny is that there are never any server issues. Warframe has a mind blowing amount of content and never has a single server issue or glitch.
I started playing Warframe with my friend and I've already spent tons of hours customizing my frame, every couple of minutes I go "Why isn't this in destiny"
I’m usually more hyped for a new season when there’s new good looking obtainable armor. It literally incentivized me to go into trials on all three characters (mostly a pve guy) and tbh it always puts me in a bad mood when we get lazy armor content. Things like: -ritual vendor exclusive armor no longer being unique ( they’re reasoning on this was bs) -no longer allowing for ornaments from trials of the nine, faction rally’s and vaulted raids to be obtained -straight up not having us be able to grind events for armor (aside from solstice)/ making the best looking armor completely inaccessible through gameplay Stuff like this just really kills my vibe. Gameplay is important but after I’ve failed to get a gun through rng, I’d like to at least go for an armor set that looks nice to make it sting less😅
One thing u have missed and probably only a few ppl knows is that if u buy a tennogen skin for a warframe, and equiping it on a Prime Warframe. It will allow you to turn on prime accessory. Which doesn't take normal accessory slot and make the tennogen skin even better
Thanks for the video! My idea for the ideal shader system: Allow selection by type of material (cloth, metal, wood, energy, etc), have effects selection (glowing, fire, design patterns, etc), allow for color and shim selection, allow for selection of which layer of the weapon/armor to apply the shader/effect (first, second, etc). The Warframe system is a step up from D2's but would of course require further enhancements.
This shitty rip-off club a la BUNGIE would never do that, because then they would positively accommodate their players with wishes and ideas, which they could not monetize. Otherwise it would be far too innovative....
Here’s three things they could add that would immediately improve customization 1: like warframe allow us to mix and match different colors from any shader we have 2: give us the option to change the size of any specific armor piece 3: something that ironically I’ve only seen doom 2016 multiplayer do that being the option to have our armor look clean and pristine or beat up and somewhat dirty for a battle worn look kinda like how the armor in reach and halo wars looked.
Yo you should actually try to do all the warframe quests and make some builds! Since the content is a little dry for destiny rn, you could play warframe and make fashion videos for certain warframes. Warframe players are really nice and would be willing to help you with anything
Makes me happy to see you branching out! I think it's healthier to dabble into a little bit of variety even if it's scary. In Warframe, they actually added a new type of cosmetic recently in the last year called a "signa" which is an adjustable head attachment. If Destiny were to take anything, they SHOULD take this and add in the flaming crowns again. SO MUCH potential, but who knows if we'll ever get that x.x

I’m in the same boat, I’ve played like 60hrs of Warframe this past week and yes it’s good, but destiny gameplay wise is better imo, plus Warframe grind is very tedious and repetitive like destiny

They're looter shooters after all, grinding for loot IS the fun for them (especially destiny when it's also trying to be an MMO). But you could argue that Warframe has trading. While I understand that trading in Warframe works, it doesn't mean it can also work well for destiny. There's tons of people out there saying their 2 cents about trading in destiny, and not a lot of them are positive. Warframe trading works because the majority of the grind in Warframe is actually p2w, and trading would be a VERY good way to circumvent that. Destiny on the other hand, whilst it has some p2w aspects, the grind for wepons can't be totally circumvented by pure p2w. Tell me, do you see any new player managing to pay for a 5/5 god roll without playing any activities? Yah. Basically, trading in destiny would make the grind easier than it already is (yah it's actually getting easier, which also resulted with long term players leaving or getting even more bored with the game). Also about your secondary point about the meta. Thats literally how the meta and endgame for games like destiny work. People grind for wepons that are "slightly better than what they already have" because the endgame requires optimisation. Also, the nerfing and buffing of metas in destiny is another good way to keep the players interested in the meta. Tell me, do you REALLY want to use the exact same wepons till the end of the franchise? Because I don't. Honestly as a closing remarks, let's just stop the bias for these games. Stupid unnecessary bias and resent for the players of the other games would only result in division, and we don't want that. Just try to put yourselfs in their own shoes, no matter how "distasteful" their shoes look in your eyes.
Rhino Prime here too! But... haven't played that game in years lol I'd say it boils down to few things: memory and the anchors of last-gen systems D2 is on.
Me personally I don't like the fashion in Warframe nearly as much because it feels a lot less personal. The armor attachments most of the time don't meaningfully change the silhouette of a frame. Syndanas are pretty nice and i agree that the color picking system is worlds better. But the frame is always just the frame with stuff on it. Even with skins the most you can do is have a skin and then change the head piece. In destiny I think there is a lot more variety in individual looks. Like obv there are only 2 body types and 3 classes but within that limitation with the ability to change all the armor pieces to distinct and different pieces you can make distinct and different guardians. But like a rhino will always be a rhino y'know. This is just my opinion tho I don't think Warframe customization is bad it's just not what I want from customization.
I think they both have their own pros and cons. Warframe has better color settings and attachments as a thing. However, destiny has more armor customizations and you can color each part of your character separately.
What utter nonsense. Warframe is able to color each part of armor and attachments individually , Destiny is only able to color the complete part not individual parts you are also not able to color exactly how you want and only how Bungie allows that part to be colored according to the shader. If you shade gauntlets you shade the whole thing, not individual parts of it. How does that make Destiny have more armor customizations?
I tried the free version of Destiny 2 on steam last night and was compelled enough from the intro to buy a few DLC's (steam keys) for about £18. As soon as I did I jumped back in the game and was thrown into this quest to do with "the final shape" and it was just ridiculously overwhelming. All the stuff in that free intro I had been introduced to was completely thrown out the window and I felt like I was playing the end of the game/story almost. Whoever directs the game seriously needs to sort out the new player experience for the sake of new people playing the game long term, but then again they've got my money so I guess that's all that matters to them. That's the difference between Warframe and Destiny imo.
I would love to submit warframe fashion for content. I hope you cover fashionframe stuff, i missed out on so many empheras and you didnt even being them up in this video but they're the best part of customizing a frame. Syandana is difficult for everyone, don't worry about that 😂 I'm not hoping you move entirely away from destiny content but showing off what WF is capable of fashion wise is a noble endeavor not enough people engage in, and now that you have access to your account once again i hope you continue to enjoy it for yourself as well ❤
The reason warframe is better comes down to the fact warframe has soul the devs love the game and the players and they are never afraid to shake up the formula and add unique experiences
Beside the skins you buy with platinum, the Tennogen skins are only purchaseable with real money but the best part of those is that they are made by the community, and a big percentage of the sales goes to the creators.
Bungie REALLY needs to take inspiration from Warframe in terms of customisation Warframe is insanely good for customisation and i feel hella disappointed when i go back onto D2 Also, adding ghost sigils as armour emblem is a sick idea and would make them worth collecting and we NEED armour attatchments i think colour palettes would sell wayyy better than shaders, even if they were for silver i'd 100% buy as many as possible

Bungie could easily bring back aura's for completing GMs and flawless trials. I love the idea for floating titles behind the head is also. It definitely woukd make me want to get the titles as i have zero reason to get them The only titles i have now are because ive gotten them through just playing and i get them passively.

Yeah, war frames customization is out of this world. I just haven’t played the game from the beginning and I feel like there’s so much in it now it’s a little overwhelming so after I started playing for a little while I stopped.
Warframe has good fashion but i find it way harder to actually make something that flows well together that isn't in a set and it's way more expensive for fashion too. Basically i think warframe's fashion has great fashion that's hard to do while Destiny has good fashion that easy to do if that makes sense.
I’m pretty sure bungie can and has the coding available to do so. But they will wait until they piss off the fan base and add it as an update. Kinda like the character editing feature coming in a future patch update.
I'll add my 2 cents to fashion being the true endgame in D2. At the beginning of each season I go into collections and check out new shaders/armour/equipment etc. If there is nothing that catches my eye I literally SKIP the season.
dunno, i mean the QoL of the warframe customization system surely is superior, however, the love for the armor bungie has made makes another whole deal of preferences to debate upon, tbh any game that lets my character get on melee figths while wearing a miniskirt is the best in my book

If Bungie would sell color palettes I think it would still work. Just make Palettes with effect colors like the Luminous Void Shader, so instead we would have to buy the shader we had to buy the palette would still be only 4 or 5 colors but we then could mix them however we would like it. And Bungie still would make around the same money.
So I stopped playing warframe just because I lost interest but this was years ago Destiny has me hooked from D1 But I can honestly spend a hour or 2 just doing fashion on Warframe

As a warframe vet myself i think every other warframe vet would agree destiny 2 even tho alot of people like to compare them we would love to see desteny player get more customization because its just fun like i played destiny 2 for a long time ive played destiny 1 and would love to have a cape on my titan or a imagine a bright pink man running at you about to beat the crap out of you (i havent played destiny 2 in like 2-3 years so i dont know if there is a shader for that)
I actually enjoy how Destiny shaders work. It takes patience to find a good combination of colors for each piece of equipment in order to make them all look cohesive and unique -- really sparks up the creative juices.
Whats wild is that bungie has never considered compressing there game so that its less space Digital extremes has been able to do it since the adjustments to one of the plains of eidelon updates actually And still looks nice even on a new gen and compressed graphics Monetization has always been a thing fot a hot minute but the fact that we have a tradable currency with a reasonable trade system for weapons cosmetics Parts and etc Plus the devs actually like hearing feedback and even have monthly streams to show us whats actually new in the update more than just a twab (Disclaimer both games are good but im just showing the pure benefits of what warframe really offers and there studio) Other than customization They even let characters have different idle animations in the that can be on other characters Pets are a lot of fun in warframe becaus ethere moddable for different benefits Overall warframe has more interactive assets (Other than wisp) That i wish bungie could actually stretch there game out If bungie could just consider compressing there game instead of it being probably almost as big ask ARK We could maybe still have some old DCV content that wouldnt be recycled into something else When you look at warframe You see a F2P that (sure makes you wanna buy stuff to get more inventory or something else) But its actually possible to trade for that currency and wont even need to spend a single silly penny or even a spec of lint on the game Plus the game has been running more recently due to those PC players getting there old accounts back Major W 🫶🏻

Just a couple things are fomo like excal prime being locked to founders back in 2012 open beta of warframe and the ten year anniversary frost and mag heirloom skins (to which the deluxe skins of theirs are better anyway) but otherwise none and also you don't have to pay a cent in warframe everything in the game can be earned by trading with other players including platinum the premium currency.
The fact destiny's fashion isn't as customizable as Warframe still doesn't change that for me, Destiny armor sets are just so much better than Warframe. I just don't like the look of 90% of warframes. I bought Voruna because I like the aesthetic and moves but not being able to have a male Version without tits is frustrating. I know a lot of people have weird feminine warframe fetishes but nah you can miss me with that
The problem is warframe doesnt really have end game content , so everyone know fashion frame is true end game , people always say after u finished "the new war" u really start to play this game , but then i promise u dont know what to do and what is "endgame" . Im new to d2 so i dont know anything about game but my first impression is seem like bungie quiet greedy . I bought forsaken pack and after first quest in dream city , i must have season pass 22 to continue -.- when its already season 23. They vault content after time ??? .of coz it isnt too expensive to buy dlc but just feel like they care more about money than player. Sometime i wonder about warframe "how they make money"
imo i prefer destiny fashion, i like the option to sellect an outfit in pieces instead of an outfit on which i overlay a few attachments. also i prefer destinys armour aesthetic over warframes. even tho i prefer warframe gameplay wise
Definitely. I played Destiny 2 and was immediately not impressed from a beginner perspective and yes I played a few hours more than 6 in Destiny 2. It is not friendly to beginners and no real story depth. On the other hand Warframe is on another level. With FREE expansions and careful story telling to beginners. DEFINITELY worth the hype and time. And if you take your time with Warframe you lose track of time. Literally.
The need to look good is essential, its basicaly the very first thing others see, then titles, weapons etc. Started to play Warframe recently, or better, returned to it again after left it 6 or more years ago due to bad story telling (guess Destiny with its Redwar and other campaings removed is now in similar space for newcomers). And yes, the amount of things you can change and add is up to the point when you can create completely different looking thing than original. In Destiny, would LOVE to have ability to combine colours instead of ending with meh feeling once you run over all shaders you have, then having to decide over some combination to look good with the rest (not to mention each armor piece projects shaders differently). And yes, remembering the days with the halos over head, was nice. Idea with the titles being more seen by that visual, would be damn cool. But we hard crash into a certain issue. While Warframe is more player friendly (even though I see some crazy low drop chances and meh long crafting times intentially there to poke you into geeting/buying platinum), Destiny 2 fallen into a pit of milking the player anyway they can. Its just truth, despite that yes, loving Destiny. So making something more or remaking is out of question, hence after they failed Sony with the revenue projection. Who knows what is now behind the curtains, holding Bungie at a gunpoint, could be. So in that, you do not much have a space to try or remake. We will only see what is new once Final Shape comes out. warframe also has something called void shell skins. these are skins for the playable characters that allow you to not only change the colors, but the texture materials in addition. I have made my own Voruna, Wereolf warframe for those that don't know, look like she's made of wood and plastic. A few minutes later, I made her look like she was made of polished titanium with finely preserved snake scale hide in her softer regions. My rhino is made of cracked and craggy stone, and I still colored him more brightly than Las vegas in Easter for point of making fun of my fellow titan brethren who love crayola a little too much.

the thing is i used to know what i was doing back in 2015, but coming back there are so many new things and systems that are different to what they used to be, will take me a while to adjust @@Clarity_Control
But Bungie is lazy and greedy, so all of these ideas would be HEAVILY monetized to the point of absurdity, if they even bothered to put some effort into the game.

It’s crazy how few games have the color palette system, and the newer voidshell system with the material changes for each slot? Crazy. The only game with more detail I’ve played it armored core, where you can change the material regardless of the skin, you have your own custom decals, everything. Even that also lacks the attachment and syandana (cloak) system, so it doesn’t even use everything Warframe has.
I know for a fact, more than a third of my hours in Warframe were and will be spent customizing. I want to do cool shit at the highest level while looking cool no matter what I’m using.
Totally correct, only Armored Core 6 surpasses Warframe in customization, which speaks highly of both games.

That's the problem with warframe. You have stuff to do for a little while but once you've done them there's nothing to do. I love warframe but i wish it had a more fun endgame. Destiny while isn't perfect has a way better end game as a whole. Both games are great in their own way.
For me Warframe is superior in the fashion department, everything else is D2 for me
@@cerebralassassin2185 What i find interesting in Warframes end game is the variation of it, while destiny 2 has Raids, Trials, Dungeons/Nightfalls/Lost sector and other stuff. All just seem to lead to farming God rolls or spiky stats what saves all of those is just the RNG of loot. But warframes End game are Eidolons, Profit taker, Exploiter Orb, Archon Hunt, Arbitration, Steel path, Netracells, Void Cascade, Rivens(Kuva farming), Sorties, Khal Missions, The Circuit/Duviri, Relic cracking. All of these can be classified as end game via this definition "the final or late stage of a game when a few pieces remain”
The problem lies in the fact that when people mention end game, they talk about difficulty, when in warframe it's backwards where difficulty is only on the first 100 hours. The connecting line on all of the things i said are the endless optimizations, Where in destiny 2, you can optimize all you want that Cabal will still almost or completely one shot in melee range. What warframe lacks isn't End Game but difficulty/cooperative and how hard it is to implement when almost everyone is so used to running at Mach 3-7 and plays their keyboard like it's a Piano performance.
Raids are still up in the air and have no plans of being added back for good reason since it will probably be ran by 3-4 Titanias and Volt.

so you just "flip" the shader and change what color goes on which part of the armor. That is probably the most realistic approach.

@@zaviki7819 honestly i grinded like 10hrs a day for a week, caught up with a lot of content then didn't care to play anymore, there's still no proper endgame so i went back to destiny. Fashionframe is for sure better but destiny 2 gameplay is far superior imo

Warframe Vet here and I love the take you made. Not just cuz of my own inferred bias, but it's nice to see to see other communities recognize the sheer amount of fashion that's possible in Warframe is nice. And your Rhino Prime looked dope dude, which fun fact on some Rhino skins cover the entire frame in a single tone metallic color affected by the color palettes you use. My Rhino Prime is like a dull grey uninteresting shade but when I use his Iron Skin ability (the action that does the metallic cover I mentioned) I turn my dull grey matte Rhino into a bright pink shining abomination and it's hilarious to me. Thanks for the exposure for the fashion of Warframe man, I'll probably tune in to see some of the Destiny fashion in the future. Your Guardian looks dope I'm interested to see other looks you've done. Art is art afterall and should be appreciated.

I'd be quite happy watching Warframe fashion included here. There doesn't need to be a competition between the two games, because you can like and/or disagree with two games and still play them.
One of the main things (and id imagine quite simple?) I wish they would change in destiny is, I wish your character would be displayed at all times with primary weapon (as opposed to which ever weapon is in the kinetic slot) its about time they changed this, or give us the option (kinetic/ or primary)
i would love a second channel that is dedicated to warframe fashion, i wouldn't even mind if it were just a monthly showcase from the discord or something like that

Warframe is far superior when it comes to fashion frames. They have a whole community dedicated to creating complete skins, attachments and weapons, and submitting them to be voted on for actual skins in game. Every individual part of Armor, attachment and Tenno can be customized. But i think it's far too late for Bungie to implement something along those lines rather, i think it would be easier to have complete exotic skins and not just exotic piece of armor. Also they should think about the option of being able to rotate the shader, the colors are already there and would instantly give more options for customizations without changing much at all.

@@Krypz the thing about warframe fashion I feel is with how much freedom there is, so many people have just AWFUL fashion, in my eyes at least. Don’t always consider that unique=good. Very mismatched colors, themes that don’t properly go with the frame they are playing, atrocious attachments, egregious syandanas, list can go on but my point is destiny players have a finer taste when it comes to making sets just based of my experience playing both games.

For auras, it goes deeper. There are ephemeras that have different effects. For example, your body emits smoke or is wrapped in flames, or your steps leave sparks of lighting. Most of them are at the earnd in the game too

I tried to get into Destiny 2 fashion but Jesus H, everything was so pricy it was INSANE. Truly.
My friend willingly put more money so had more stuff and looked often cooler and I had to look cool just with free stuff, which I'm ok with but there's so little free customization that looks good it's crazy.

One of the biggest things that warframe has over destiny is that there are never any server issues. Warframe has a mind blowing amount of content and never has a single server issue or glitch.
I started playing Warframe with my friend and I've already spent tons of hours customizing my frame, every couple of minutes I go "Why isn't this in destiny"
I’m usually more hyped for a new season when there’s new good looking obtainable armor. It literally incentivized me to go into trials on all three characters (mostly a pve guy) and tbh it always puts me in a bad mood when we get lazy armor content. Things like:
-ritual vendor exclusive armor no longer being unique ( they’re reasoning on this was bs)
-no longer allowing for ornaments from trials of the nine, faction rally’s and vaulted raids to be obtained
-straight up not having us be able to grind events for armor (aside from solstice)/ making the best looking armor completely inaccessible through gameplay
Stuff like this just really kills my vibe. Gameplay is important but after I’ve failed to get a gun through rng, I’d like to at least go for an armor set that looks nice to make it sting less😅

One thing u have missed and probably only a few ppl knows is that if u buy a tennogen skin for a warframe, and equiping it on a Prime Warframe. It will allow you to turn on prime accessory. Which doesn't take normal accessory slot and make the tennogen skin even better

Thanks for the video! My idea for the ideal shader system: Allow selection by type of material (cloth, metal, wood, energy, etc), have effects selection (glowing, fire, design patterns, etc), allow for color and shim selection, allow for selection of which layer of the weapon/armor to apply the shader/effect (first, second, etc). The Warframe system is a step up from D2's but would of course require further enhancements.
This shitty rip-off club a la BUNGIE would never do that, because then they would positively accommodate their players with wishes and ideas, which they could not monetize.
Otherwise it would be far too innovative....
One thing I noticed when playing warframe. Was the customisation was SO much better.
You even forgot to mention the clan emblem sigil that you can add on to your frame. You can upload a logo and DE can approve to put on.
Amazing timing because two or three days ago me and my freind started playing reframe and we love it.
Here’s three things they could add that would immediately improve customization 1: like warframe allow us to mix and match different colors from any shader we have 2: give us the option to change the size of any specific armor piece 3: something that ironically I’ve only seen doom 2016 multiplayer do that being the option to have our armor look clean and pristine or beat up and somewhat dirty for a battle worn look kinda like how the armor in reach and halo wars looked.
Yo you should actually try to do all the warframe quests and make some builds! Since the content is a little dry for destiny rn, you could play warframe and make fashion videos for certain warframes. Warframe players are really nice and would be willing to help you with anything

You dont need to go max mr for fashion. Right now mr is solely for weapon requirment and with mr 16-17 you are able to equipt all weapons.
Makes me happy to see you branching out! I think it's healthier to dabble into a little bit of variety even if it's scary.
In Warframe, they actually added a new type of cosmetic recently in the last year called a "signa" which is an adjustable head attachment. If Destiny were to take anything, they SHOULD take this and add in the flaming crowns again. SO MUCH potential, but who knows if we'll ever get that x.x

Anyways, lets be real lets be honest, both games have a lot of grinding and both games have been memed on for being grindy. They're looter shooters after all, grinding for loot IS the fun for them (especially destiny when it's also trying to be an MMO).
But you could argue that Warframe has trading. While I understand that trading in Warframe works, it doesn't mean it can also work well for destiny. There's tons of people out there saying their 2 cents about trading in destiny, and not a lot of them are positive.
Warframe trading works because the majority of the grind in Warframe is actually p2w, and trading would be a VERY good way to circumvent that. Destiny on the other hand, whilst it has some p2w aspects, the grind for wepons can't be totally circumvented by pure p2w. Tell me, do you see any new player managing to pay for a 5/5 god roll without playing any activities? Yah. Basically, trading in destiny would make the grind easier than it already is (yah it's actually getting easier, which also resulted with long term players leaving or getting even more bored with the game).
Also about your secondary point about the meta. Thats literally how the meta and endgame for games like destiny work. People grind for wepons that are "slightly better than what they already have" because the endgame requires optimisation.
Also, the nerfing and buffing of metas in destiny is another good way to keep the players interested in the meta. Tell me, do you REALLY want to use the exact same wepons till the end of the franchise? Because I don't.
Honestly as a closing remarks, let's just stop the bias for these games. Stupid unnecessary bias and resent for the players of the other games would only result in division, and we don't want that. Just try to put yourselfs in their own shoes, no matter how "distasteful" their shoes look in your eyes.
Rhino Prime here too! But... haven't played that game in years lol I'd say it boils down to few things: memory and the anchors of last-gen systems D2 is on.
Me personally I don't like the fashion in Warframe nearly as much because it feels a lot less personal. The armor attachments most of the time don't meaningfully change the silhouette of a frame. Syndanas are pretty nice and i agree that the color picking system is worlds better. But the frame is always just the frame with stuff on it. Even with skins the most you can do is have a skin and then change the head piece. In destiny I think there is a lot more variety in individual looks. Like obv there are only 2 body types and 3 classes but within that limitation with the ability to change all the armor pieces to distinct and different pieces you can make distinct and different guardians. But like a rhino will always be a rhino y'know. This is just my opinion tho I don't think Warframe customization is bad it's just not what I want from customization.

However, destiny has more armor customizations and you can color each part of your character separately.

Warframe is able to color each part of armor and attachments individually , Destiny is only able to color the complete part not individual parts you are also not able to color exactly how you want and only how Bungie allows that part to be colored according to the shader. If you shade gauntlets you shade the whole thing, not individual parts of it. How does that make Destiny have more armor customizations?

I tried the free version of Destiny 2 on steam last night and was compelled enough from the intro to buy a few DLC's (steam keys) for about £18. As soon as I did I jumped back in the game and was thrown into this quest to do with "the final shape" and it was just ridiculously overwhelming. All the stuff in that free intro I had been introduced to was completely thrown out the window and I felt like I was playing the end of the game/story almost. Whoever directs the game seriously needs to sort out the new player experience for the sake of new people playing the game long term, but then again they've got my money so I guess that's all that matters to them. That's the difference between Warframe and Destiny imo.

I would love to submit warframe fashion for content. I hope you cover fashionframe stuff, i missed out on so many empheras and you didnt even being them up in this video but they're the best part of customizing a frame. Syandana is difficult for everyone, don't worry about that 😂 I'm not hoping you move entirely away from destiny content but showing off what WF is capable of fashion wise is a noble endeavor not enough people engage in, and now that you have access to your account once again i hope you continue to enjoy it for yourself as well ❤
The reason warframe is better comes down to the fact warframe has soul the devs love the game and the players and they are never afraid to shake up the formula and add unique experiences
I always assumed some shaders work with opacity or blend modes over whatever the default armor colors are.
Beside the skins you buy with platinum, the Tennogen skins are only purchaseable with real money but the best part of those is that they are made by the community, and a big percentage of the sales goes to the creators.
Not to mention that 90% of Destiny 2's fun stuff is locked behind days of grinding, maybe even weeks.

Yeah, war frames customization is out of this world. I just haven’t played the game from the beginning and I feel like there’s so much in it now it’s a little overwhelming so after I started playing for a little while I stopped.
Warframe has good fashion but i find it way harder to actually make something that flows well together that isn't in a set and it's way more expensive for fashion too. Basically i think warframe's fashion has great fashion that's hard to do while Destiny has good fashion that easy to do if that makes sense.

I'll add my 2 cents to fashion being the true endgame in D2. At the beginning of each season I go into collections and check out new shaders/armour/equipment etc. If there is nothing that catches my eye I literally SKIP the season.
dunno, i mean the QoL of the warframe customization system surely is superior, however, the love for the armor bungie has made makes another whole deal of preferences to debate upon, tbh any game that lets my character get on melee figths while wearing a miniskirt is the best in my book

If Bungie would sell color palettes I think it would still work. Just make Palettes with effect colors like the Luminous Void Shader, so instead we would have to buy the shader we had to buy the palette would still be only 4 or 5 colors but we then could mix them however we would like it. And Bungie still would make around the same money.
So I stopped playing warframe just because I lost interest but this was years ago Destiny has me hooked from D1

As a warframe vet myself i think every other warframe vet would agree destiny 2 even tho alot of people like to compare them we would love to see desteny player get more customization because its just fun like i played destiny 2 for a long time ive played destiny 1 and would love to have a cape on my titan or a imagine a bright pink man running at you about to beat the crap out of you (i havent played destiny 2 in like 2-3 years so i dont know if there is a shader for that)
I actually enjoy how Destiny shaders work. It takes patience to find a good combination of colors for each piece of equipment in order to make them all look cohesive and unique -- really sparks up the creative juices.

First compare destiny 2 storage space
Then warframe storage space

Second sure they will vault some frames into the vault till they come back to be grinded for
But that really doesnt count as vaulting it just means they will come back
If you want hard mode
Completing every node on the chart allows you a new mode to access every few hours
And a hard mode around the planet to actually put building skills into the challenge of the game with more guarantee and rewards and it actually does the work
Third the devs actually have streams at the end of every single month because it gives us something new
Tile sets are a RNG of different hallways or scenes of the game so it doesnt actually feel like your going through the same play all the effing time
For example and not hypothetically
Were getting 13 new tilesets in entrati that were from the story that we will have access with new secrets
We even get new content for new characters like its a refreshment to hold us over
Dogfighting is a fun way as well to get out of tilesets if you want something exciting
Tired of doing fissures on tileset
Complete tempest stari missions and get access to dogfighting void fissures for more fun and all reactant you get is linked with everyone in the group
Bungie never takes the time to consider some new and actually interesting things they can do
You can move a certain ability of a certain character to another character for more action and effect as well
Going either into the endgame of fashion frame or ikeaframe in your orbiter
Or even your dojo
Yeah destiny 2 aint getting nothing like that cause they havent even bothered
Warframes player count even went up with destiny 2 players jumping ship for a fun momentum based game
Planets with open world are fun in there own way
Characters that have personality
Can change there stances not only on melee but on characters is a fantasy anyone could wish for
De maybe good at monetization but
They actually bother to use there money towards the game
Warframe has never been better than it has and actually has a decent story
And with the help of friends it makes it easier for new players to
And the devs helped made it easier too and got rid of some of the hardest stuff that wouldve taken a good amount of research to do
What makes it actually worth coming back too is the weekly resets on a sunday instead of a tuesday where everyone is busy at that time
In destiny 2 there was always a reset for loot and getting up to the minimum light level to do content even with bonuses from seasonal artifact that would reset
In warframe its all about items
Endgame content benefits that become more potent the more you play
Ingame time effects with on free roam areas are actually cool
Material farming is actually awesome
Daily logins give material xp or mod boosters chances or credit boosters
Granted a standing limit for things like ranking up is a buzzkill
But it can sometimes pull people into the game
Its almost hard to actually spend money when there are ways around it
Bungie couldnt even bother to literally just make shadowkeep beyond light and witchqueen free 💀
Limits are limits in destiny 2
In warframe there will always be unlimited potential around pay walls actually
A free battle pass every single time and has a long duration for players to get challenges done that not done through pvp 👌🏻
Destiny 2 can be good at the end but has a point where youll wait until two months till they open up what they are revealing
Warframe can be good at the end where you wait but youll come back to it because you waited for something to be finished crafting and are very revved up to try
And in the end its also fun with friends

@@hectorpcmr.Umm yeah there is practically no fomo as a 900+ hr veteran. Just a couple things are fomo like excal prime being locked to founders back in 2012 open beta of warframe and the ten year anniversary frost and mag heirloom skins (to which the deluxe skins of theirs are better anyway) but otherwise none and also you don't have to pay a cent in warframe everything in the game can be earned by trading with other players including platinum the premium currency.
No FOMO really

The fact destiny's fashion isn't as customizable as Warframe still doesn't change that for me, Destiny armor sets are just so much better than Warframe. I just don't like the look of 90% of warframes. I bought Voruna because I like the aesthetic and moves but not being able to have a male Version without tits is frustrating. I know a lot of people have weird feminine warframe fetishes but nah you can miss me with that
The problem is warframe doesnt really have end game content , so everyone know fashion frame is true end game , people always say after u finished "the new war" u really start to play this game , but then i promise u dont know what to do and what is "endgame" . Im new to d2 so i dont know anything about game but my first impression is seem like bungie quiet greedy . I bought forsaken pack and after first quest in dream city , i must have season pass 22 to continue -.- when its already season 23. They vault content after time ??? .of coz it isnt too expensive to buy dlc but just feel like they care more about money than player. Sometime i wonder about warframe "how they make money"

So after all these years of not playing, this game is still “fashion frame” for their endgame… guess I don’t need to install it again.

imo i prefer destiny fashion, i like the option to sellect an outfit in pieces instead of an outfit on which i overlay a few attachments. also i prefer destinys armour aesthetic over warframes. even tho i prefer warframe gameplay wise

Definitely. I played Destiny 2 and was immediately not impressed from a beginner perspective and yes I played a few hours more than 6 in Destiny 2. It is not friendly to beginners and no real story depth. On the other hand Warframe is on another level. With FREE expansions and careful story telling to beginners. DEFINITELY worth the hype and time. And if you take your time with Warframe you lose track of time. Literally.
The need to look good is essential, its basicaly the very first thing others see, then titles, weapons etc.
Started to play Warframe recently, or better, returned to it again after left it 6 or more years ago due to bad story telling (guess Destiny with its Redwar and other campaings removed is now in similar space for newcomers).
And yes, the amount of things you can change and add is up to the point when you can create completely different looking thing than original.
In Destiny, would LOVE to have ability to combine colours instead of ending with meh feeling once you run over all shaders you have, then having to decide over some combination to look good with the rest (not to mention each armor piece projects shaders differently).
And yes, remembering the days with the halos over head, was nice. Idea with the titles being more seen by that visual, would be damn cool.
But we hard crash into a certain issue. While Warframe is more player friendly (even though I see some crazy low drop chances and meh long crafting times intentially there to poke you into geeting/buying platinum), Destiny 2 fallen into a pit of milking the player anyway they can. Its just truth, despite that yes, loving Destiny.
So making something more or remaking is out of question, hence after they failed Sony with the revenue projection. Who knows what is now behind the curtains, holding Bungie at a gunpoint, could be. So in that, you do not much have a space to try or remake.
We will only see what is new once Final Shape comes out.
