Awesome Fiddling!!! Of these I prefer Orkney, Kerry and Cuban styles in that order. The Cuban style immediately reminded me of Stephen Grappelli for some reason. Thanks!😎
Absolutely brilliant…makes you wanna dance 🎻…. didn’t know they have a special way of playing the fiddle in the Orkney Islands - just remember the bagpipes. And all these different sounds from Ireland make me rather wistful for the green hills and the rugged shores of Ireland😢
You play so beautifully…the playing is top notch (can’t believe you did all this in one take and without any mistakes) and the backing track is very nice too. I aspire to be just as versatile and eloquent across that many styles one day.
One "style" I didn't see cited is Cape Verdean (Cabo Verde islands off the northwest coast of Africa). It has Portuguese and African influences. There are quite a few examples on TH-cam. I'd watch and listen to the musicians accompanying Cesaria Evora: Live d'Amor, (Grand Rex, Paris, 2004) and Bau (aka Rufino Almeida). Bau plays other instruments besides the violin.
Great to see my home county of Northumberland represented!
This is great!! You deserve more subscribers
Bravo 👏🍀🎻💖🤩
If you close your eyes, it sounds like a video of 20 differen't fiddlers. Incredible job! Also, OMG Brave!!
Wow! You are amazing. 😊
Stoked to see another one of these! Beautiful work

Good work mate
Well put together
I’m loving the genre and tune name titles
Thanks mate
Wonderful work, and you seem to be a master of every style!
I'm in love with that Manx tune, but I can't find a standalone recording of it anywhere.

Stunning player. Enjoy your talent.
Ain't no real "Country Music" without a fiddle...thx
I'm in love with that last Manx tune. Do you know of any standalone recordings of it?

Thanks for the recommendation! It's on the list for next years world fiddle day vid!
Thanks Michael. I imagined a duet with guitrist John Renbourn on Kemps Jigg.

Who is ready to go to Tortuga? HAHAHAHA
Donegal style and no scratchy bowed triplets!?
I know, seems like a missed opportunity, but the tune is a certified donegal tune in any case!
