I was rooting for Brooke Lynn all the way but I am satisfied with Yvie winning. Aside from Brooke Lynn Yvie was my only other fave in the top four. And my sweetheart Nina wins Miss Congeniality. I am also satisfied and at peace.

I would say that I'd still have an issue with Silky winning even if she turned out to be a lipsync assassin. I believe that the winner should be the most deserving person with the most wins throughout the competition. Akeria and Silky both had more wins than Yvie, and Brooke Lynn had more wins than anyone. So I know that Yvie was crowned for being the fan favorite (because I personally think the finale was a mess, but the final lipsync didn't have an obvious winner), and the likelihood of fandom outrage if another white + blonde queen was crowned.

You don't get to win because you're a favorite, my dude.

Manila is my very fave but, at that time, she was not ready to promote drag at the level Raja has. Now she is perfect winner material but ppl didnt know how she would promote herself after. She had outer world controversy on the show and while her looks were innovative for s3, Raja was still a step ahead on most runways. Plus a double crowning on just the 3rd season is a bit weird

Two of my favorite queens of all time. Their season really took Drag Race to a higher level and established it in popular culture. It makes me happy to see them hosting shows for WOW and having other success. So deserved.
I thought Yvie really embodied the emotion of edge of glory so beautifully! I've watched that lip sync over and over and I get a thrill every time Yvie does that spin with "the edge... the edge..." EVERY TIME!
I loved all the eyes on Yvie's gown (during the second performance). I believe one of her good friends and her made it. That headpiece was so intricate and beautiful.

it was season 3. was too early for double crownings
Manila is my very fave but, at that time, she was not ready to promote drag at the level Raja has. Now she is perfect winner material but ppl didnt know how she would promote herself after. She had outer world controversy on the show and while her looks were innovative for s3, Raja was still a step ahead on most runways. Plus a double crowning on just the 3rd season is a bit weird

Two of my favorite queens of all time. Their season really took Drag Race to a higher level and established it in popular culture. It makes me happy to see them hosting shows for WOW and having other success. So deserved.
I thought Yvie really embodied the emotion of edge of glory so beautifully! I've watched that lip sync over and over and I get a thrill every time Yvie does that spin with "the edge... the edge..." EVERY TIME!

I loved all the eyes on Yvie's gown (during the second performance). I believe one of her good friends and her made it. That headpiece was so intricate and beautiful.
I was disappointed frankly. (Not about Yvie she slayed) There was sooo much build up to this show, Red carpet and back stage, and yet the show itself was, MEH.
So rushed.
