The bike in the video is a 2018 Quick 1 Disc. I also own one and agree it is a great bike. Between the previous owner and myself, it has covered over 2,500 trouble free miles. I upgraded to 700x35c Schwalbe Marathon GT tires, Ergon grips, a Selle Anatomica R2 saddle, and SKS Blumel mud guards. I'll be installing a 105 crankset this winter and doing some other upgrades. I think is a great all around bike -my riding has included rails to trails, surface streets, and single track.
Great review nice to see you can put some more aggressive tires on it. I went with a 2021 quick 3. Not as great components as the 105 but didnt want to spend as much. I get it this saturday.
I think you're going to enjoy it. If you're looking to get a set of trail tires, I did a review of the WTB All Terrains. The important thing is just getting out there an riding. Check out my "Just Ride" video if you get a chance. Thanks for watching.
I picked up a used "Quick" at a local Inverness Fl. bike shop...they just wanted to sell it cheaply (going out of business). I was astounded at how truly "quick" it is. I am using it more than a newer Trek Verve. The next bike I get will be a new Quick.
Just bought one from a pawn shop for $240 out the door today. Not sure the year but its has the bluetooth garmin and looks like a 2022. It's in 8/10 condition but no functional issues. A little bit of rust on the chain and a few bolts. This is a link to the offerup page main image of it. images.offerup.com/ipnb11qUU84ocx6fvUMcNVWm3pw=/1922x1442/e79b/e79bfffa0e4e4b82b73649b5d589c7e3.jpg
Hi, for me it 100% comes down to the groupset and brakes. The frame and geometry of the two bikes are very similar. However, I have the Shimano 105 groupset on my Quick and its incredibly responsive, crisp and fast. I'm a bigger guy and the I like the more robust Shimano MT series on the quick over the Tektro RS series on the FX. I'd give speed and performance to the Quick. That 105 groupset is essentially a road bike set and you can tell. Comfort on these hybrid bikes can be changed with a quick switch of the saddle. I hope this helps. Thanks.
Good review ! Not a lot of reviews on this bicycle. Thanks !!!
Of course. Thank you for your reply. I'm glad I could help.

Hey Travis. Thanks for the comment. I agree. The bike can do almost anything. Cheers.
Very informative! Thank you! I just bought one and looking forward to picking it up.
I'm glad. Thanks for the feedback. I think you're going to love it.

Its truly my "every day " bike. Simply changing the type of tires can change what its used for. Thanks for sharing Alejandro.

@@45eno that's an absolute steal!!!
What model of WTB tyres did you upgrade to? Also what width?
Hey there. Thanks for the question. Those are the All Terrains. I have the 700×32, but I believe you can all the way up to 700×35.
Cheers Marti. 👍Happy New Year!
In this bicycle can fix rear rack for the touring purpose?
Yes. A rear rack can be afixed with the stock tires. Thanks for reaching out.
How is the cannondale quick 1 compared to Trek FX2? In terms of speed, performance, comfort

Do they have quick release on the front wheels ?
The front hub is a quick release 12-100mm thru axle.
Which Quick is this please? 4, 5, 6?
This is the Quick 1.
im tempted to convert one of these into an e bike
That would be a sweet build. Please send a couple of photos if you do.
