Seeing and hearing Metallica play Whiplash in 2024 blows me away. The first time I heard this song was in 1985, a special year for me being 12 years old at the time, still innocent and finding Metallica. A band that sounded very different than all the rest of the bands we were all listening to. Metallica stood out big time back then... you could hear it.I am 51 today and they have always been my band.. ever since I first discovered them for myself.

I think the stage setup is too overwhelming to be honest. Many times when they are on the opposite side of the stage….you’d feel like you’re watching nobody.

I told my son to stand up in his seat when we saw AC/DC years ago. No problem.
The people sitting were lame but the crowd was pretty good on the floor at least where I was
