The V&H 2n1 always sound great. And I like how the rear pipe bends in front of then under the peg. Hate a hot melted boot foot. Ive hated pipe placements on a lot of bikes since I burned my thigh on a hot metal pipe Honda that was placed up near the seat when I was 12 years old..a little small for the bike I was but damn that hurt like the shit. Never forgot it. So always been a stickler on mufflers for bikes and where they are bent and placed.
Ran one of these on my 2018 sportster, at the time it had Feuling 505/515 cams and a few other bolt ons, and the exhaust sounded absolutely amazing. I have a couple videos of it on the bike (fly by video and walk around), it's currently got a two brothers gen 2 2-1 and a lot more done to it but I definitely liked the v&h a lot more!
Bro nice vid, when you change pipes try using a little dab of grease like red and tacky or even some assembly lube to keep the gasket in place while you fit the header! Looks good love that V&H pipe, im picking up a roadster this week Sportster FTW!
Hope you guys are doing ok , our area out here in the cape got hit hard ,we just got power and wifi , I've honestly been looking at this for my 48 for about 2 years but man when you have forwards on the 48 the price jumps haha ive got it set up for just pinning it constantly with short short drag dumps ..so it runs like ass when your wanting to just cruz not cruz wide open in 3rd gear screaming 😒 but I really don't want to put any more money into it an focus on my RK more haha ...anyway bra hope 🙏 nothing got flattened or flooded at your pad man ! 🤙
I can’t really give you a fair comparison on that because the only bike in person that I have heard the two Brothers on has been either my M8 softail or other M8 softails, so it’s obviously a different displacement and a different engine altogether so I really do not know. This exhaust is not terribly loud at least in this 883 though.
Yes it’s a complete system. It’s not a baffle like Harley uses it’s their own setup. Technically a baffle but it’s completely open. And yeah I said to use anti seize on it all in the video

I understood it was a complete system, my question must not have been clear, does it have a removable baffle and was it in? The Vance and Hines pipe on my Pan America and all their exhausts ive had in the past had a removable baffle. I know if I remove them I my bikes, it will not run as smoothly, decel pop, and hesitate, another words create a lean condition. Unless I retune it to run without. Especially if the air box is open.

How loud is this compared to TBR? I have a TBR and sometimes it gets annoying how loud it is idle

I would recommend using antisieze on all exhaust fasteners. Were the baffles in the new pipe? Good video.

Pretty decent but I also have raised suspension. The exhaust does not rub. Pegs do first
