Once you go to a steam dryer, you will never return to one without it. I wanted to go for an all in one washer/dryer combo but they don’t come with a steam dryer option so I’m out. great video ❤
I dont know where you are from but in Europe the electricity price are so high that steam dryer does not make any sense. 20 minutes costs 600% more electricity and it is same as if you'd wash your clothing with 40 celsius for 3 hrs 20 minutes. On top of that, you cannot steam wash everything, like jeans and wool.
@@Valor110America, electricity isn’t quite so bad. I have heard it blows in the Uk and Europe for power, I don’t get why though cuz I’m a dumb American.
What are the risks of steam dryers eventually leaking and flooding your house since they have no place internally to dispose of water like a washer does?
Here's a question I need to know. If I buy a steam dryer is it actually usable without using the steam function such as a regular dry button on it? Also, can I just not hook it up to a water line and still use it? Found a cheap used one to buy but I dont want to use the steam function.
does the LG Washtower steam dryer use a separate hose connection, or share water with the washer internally, or use a manually filled reservoir? thanks. great job on your videos. very helpful.

It's not really steam tho... it just sprays water that the dryer heats up while tumbling the cloths...
2:46 Everyone is saving me so much money! Wow. Thanks.
Great information. Thanks. We just had our washer and dryer installed and they did not connect our Dryer so we could use steam.
Me too

I have a 2011 dryer from LG that has a little water reservoir on top to provide steam. Do they not do it that way now?
Had some blankets that smelled.horrible no matter how many times I washed them. Put them into the steam sanitize and it smells great again
Will the steam function shrink clothes due to high heat?
Hasn't shrunk the clothes we used it on.
No
Won't damp clothes automatically generate steam when they get dried by normal dryer?
Not really
No since it's all gonna get blown thru the lint catcher to the outside. There's a difference between humidity and steam
@@blackice7408wrong the steam functionality is just a gimic.. it just sprays water inside the dryer...

Yes. You can option it to be used on a cycle you want or not. But some cycles are mandatory steam cycles
Thank you!
Are all steam dryers bigger?
It's Jen in the background, right?
She's gorgeous, whoever she is
Kyler is very nice

I have an LG steam dryer, but it’s not the Washtower. Mine has a reservoir. We love it.
uses separate hose connection, which is super easy with the y connector (a plastic one comes with it but i used a better metal one)
Is that Jenna Jameson?
Lindsey sterling?
Very informative!!
Thank you for the information
