I've always been a big Venom fan, but when Knull got involved in the symbiote story I was hooked, this is one of my all time favourite Marvel story arcs.
Easily one of the best written sagas In all of comic history, you can tell Cates was a huge marvel fan prior to this and just made his dreams come true.
Listening to this on my way to and from work while driving. It's like listening to a podcast or a radio drama. Sometimes at lunch break hours, I'd just drive out, bring my lunch box, and park my car somewhere in a decent quiet and full of trees where there's a minimarket that I can buy coffee, and sit and eat my lunch while continuing listening to these videos. Jonathan Hickman's run are by far my favorites. All of them.

Hands down, the best part of sitting through seven hours of Knull destroying Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is watching Eddie Brock glow with power of Mr. Universe, Summon the Silver Surfers board and Mjolnir from Thor, combine them into a Venom shaped battle axe of pure light, and watch the soon-to-be EX King of Black run away screaming. Awesome.
Thank you for the full story my brother!!! I missed a few episodes while you were covering it, so I told myself that I would just wait until you put the full story out that way I can enjoy the complete story in one go. It took months but you finally did it!
Venom has been my favorite for years (Spiderman is my default favorite) this is exactly the story I've needed and for it to progress to Dylan is absolutely legendary!!! Well done Donny Cates!!!

This entire video made me so happyyy, oh my gosh. I got into reading the venom comics a few weeks ago, and was looking for videos that would basically summarise it and explain what has happened in what order- this video was PERFECT. The way the creator talks is like- I love it! The same excitement I have when I talk about the comics I've read. Thank you so much for the hard work, I truly loved the video!

King In Black crossover was unorthodox but that was my reasoning of liking it .....to see different individuals that Knull used as pawns for the symbiote and the story of him being the GOD of the symbiotes was awesome....love the commentation for this one
Man, nothing gets me more pumped comics wise than Rob and his monologue. Man...let me tell man, man, man, you ...man. When Rob gets pumped it's impossible to not get pumped for three incoming story

I'm not afforded alot of time to read, even something like short story form comics, let alone my fav, graphic novels. As an writer myself I gotta say, this is brilliantly written. What he’s done here and the way he’s done it isn’t easy at all but he nailed it. Best venom story I’ve ever read for sure.
@@arkensdreamtime9465 I noticed that too. Luckily he has a full story vid up for absolute carnage. Long story short, the fight continues with Eddie using the gear of his old 90s enemies The Jury. He saves miles while Peter guards the kids. Carnage outsmarts hulk by jabbing his brain to force him to de-hulk, rips venom from him and adds it to himself. Spiderman falls but Dylan finds out he can control symbiotes. Eddie discovers Maker was storing the codexes so he bonds with all of them to fight carnage, but carnage knows he wins either way at that point. Either he kills everyone and wins or Brock takes over the symbiotes and summons knull anyway. To save Dylan, Eddie does the latter and tries to prepare for knull from there.
Ya I’m a new fan but I go back and watch rob’s old videos all the time. I think the rundown videos were a really cool medium to tell lil stories. At the same time tho the more long videos he puts out the better for me. Cuz I like to just put them on in my headphones while goin throughout my day

I listen to these after I’ve read it all just to make sure I get to milk the stories for all they’re worth. But his enthusiasm gets me so pumped to hear certain moments I knew were coming. It’s just as fun the second time around.
