Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy this tutorial! I had a lot of fun making it and learning this song. I liked it so much I think I will probably make a cover of it next week!
I know it's a big song, but I tried to find chords that are especially friendly to the ukulele! The key has been modified, by the way, so that the chords are easier and also to fit the vocal range better.

Sooo, you have a teaching talent also. Generally, it's not easy to make complex things easy to understand by others (pun intended) :) I bet many good musicians can not explain (even their own music) to beginners in a proper way.

I feel like this greatly helped my Ukulele skills. A lot of tutorial’s don’t show which word to change chord, and I found that greatly helpful. You should do a cover of it to show how to do transitions from verses, the bridge and choruses gracefully

Hey I just checked and it is the same, but it might look confusing since I use fingers 3 and 4 on the bottom strings! It looks kind of like I'm using the second finger on a string but I'm not! The words match up with the picture :)

Okay so like I LOVE THIS. BUT IM HAVING SUCH TROUBLE WITH THE STRUMMING. I just started playing the ukulele so I’m sorry if this is a pretty stupid question. Could you explain this to me a little better, for this strumming pattern? Sorry again this is probably dumb but I really wanna learn the song
Aw no you're not dumb! Lol, it's a trickier strumming pattern because it involves syncopated rhythms. I'd suggest trying a strumming pattern that is similar, but doesn't have the syncopation. Try using D Du Du Du. Make sure you're using your index finger to play the down strums, and your thumb for the up strums! Then when that feels comfortable, try the syncopated strum D Du u Du. It's basically the same, but there's no third "D," you skip it. But you still want to keep your hand moving up and down the whole time. I hope that helps! Also I made a video called 5 Useful Ukulele Patterns and that may be helpful to watch too. Good luck!!! ❤️❤️
