It's boring, you grab pistol, you shoot, you grab pistol and shoot again, your run out of bullet,you throw gun, use unarmed then grab pistol again you shoot, all by clicking it even feels less like a action game more like a point and click game.. If this was like arkham asylum it will be much better. I made a video gameplay of this, even it get a dislike -.-
Well, not something I'm truly excited for, but Bithell is *fantastic,* so will happily pick this up once it's on Steam. Hopefully it'll be a bit less janky at that point. Didn't know it existed 'til now. Neat. Cheers.
I pre-order it for like 6 euros when they had the big Epic sale back in May. Yeah, it seem this game came out too soon. I loved Volume from Mike Bithell.
After watching Katana ZERO Gameplay I wondered how a turn based game would be like if you saw a real-time replay of your actions. Then I got this on sale Not quite what I had in concept, but I am totally enjoying this!
@@solyypro Yea he is animated more nicely in his game, but the gameplay is just, in my opinion, NOT John Wick. He doesn't slow time in the movies I mean, come on... This game, WITHOUT freezing time, is already a game. It's Hotline Miami. You throw guns, shoot guns, punch people. John Wick Hex looks like Hotline but on "Even Easier" difficulty.
You really can't compare these two games, they are very much different gendras JW might be better as an action game in your opinion, but that doesn't make this game a "easy Hotline Miami"
So just because John Wick doesn’t pull some magic watch out of his ass in the movies means that the time-stop mechanic can’t be used in the games, especially in an effective matter that matches the tactical approach he has in the movies instead of a becoming generic shooty man who hides behind cover every five seconds? Yeah, ok pal.
Damn son, A Max Payne style John Wick game with some gun-fu would be retarded good and probably sell like hotcakes! Even if the production quality was toned down a bit compared to R* usual fare. Just so long as gameplay, sound, control and animations are enjoyable.

Literally nobody is affected by the "steam circle jerk" except for Epic Games, which will hopefully encourage them to give their platform some basic features. We all want Steam to have competition, as long as said competition isn't hoarding games on their garbage launcher.
Another interesting looking game ruined by one sentence.. I always thought sth like superhot but with a better melee system would be great Imagine pavlov vr with a melee system
or just buy the game from epic? is it really going to hurt your pride to buy a game you want from a store you don't like? although becoming a pirate is still a fun option!
@@nonspiderweb Ugh I absolutely hate the epic store! I had my account hacked there and bank info leaked from them. Called them up and they said nothing thewy can do to reverse my account changes and and could only block my account from being charged again. So i did the next best thing Called my bank up to do a reverse charge for the items, the $$ i used to buy the game (Fortnite Save the World), and Unistalled everything EPIC.

That had so much promise, but it clearly failed on the execution, ironic given the nature of the IP.
This real time mode for when the mission is done is what I wanted in xcom I'm not so sure now
