Game & Wario: Bird | The Discovery of What's Inside "The Egg"?

- After 8 and a half years of this game being out, no one has ever posted what happens to the egg. Does it even hatch? The highest score anyone has ever gotten was 84050, which is when the egg has a crack with an eye peeking through. A month ago I started to work towards getting an even higher score and today it happened. 161660 points. The egg hatches at 100000, the sound of a vase breaking occurs then the rest of the game goes completely silent. Everything turns monochrome and this very calm music starts playing. While each Wario Ware character has their own quirks, Kat and Ana in particular are special. Their names, (when put together,) spell out, "katana," which is also a traditional Japanese sword. Seeing as most of Kat and Ana's theming is centered around feudalistic Japan, they themselves being ninjas, having this naming quirk is simply charming.

Its so extremly surreal seeing someone making a new video about game and wario... a game i have so many memorys with and grew up with... and seeing someone discovering such an easter egg!
I know it sounds weird but it feels like all the years of the love for game and wario have let to this moment xD
i’m so glad the video makes you feel this way! i had a wii u when it first came out but sold it for an xbox 360 because there wasn’t anything interesting on the wii u at the time. back in 2019 i got another wii u with game & wario and was able to unlock bird pretty quickly. i never really played the game that often because i never felt like playing it, but recently i’ve started playing patchwork and bird more often and now i find them really fun

I feel emotional reading this while listening to the ambient music.
The weakness of the other pyoro minigames is that they were rather repetitive. These bizarre background events cover for that.
I really like the clay artsyle they chose for this!

Now you've got me wondering if there is anything past the egg. Probably not since it hatches past 100,000.
if something were to change it would probably be at 200000. my current high score is 174980 and the game is pretty much at max speed when i reach 100000 so if i can keep it going for long, which isn’t too hard to do, i should be able to reach 200000.

I’ve gotten to at least 200,000 so nothing happens then either. If you had to get an even higher amount of points to see if anything changes, then Nintendo is sure expecting a lot.
@@Heckofaworldwearelivingin if that’s the case then nothing probably happens beyond 100000, which i mean is fine because things usually stop changing at 50000 in other pyoro mini games

I managed to get game and wario running on cemu and it runs bird really well!

i just use my wii u and game pad so i don’t really need emulator but that’s neat! does it display both the screen and game pad or just the screen? how would it track motion?
