So i used two pieces of sheet metal, cut them to the right distance, drilled two fitting holes, then i used a set of nut and bolt to fit the plastic cover to the brackets, then the stock bolts to fit the brackets to the frame, its kinda complicated but it works well
amazing video, only one thing though, does your bike turn on while charging I bypassed the key fob because I lost all the fobs, and I connected the red/black wire and red/white wire together and the bike automatically turns on while charging. I am gonna change it out to a key ignition and was wondering if your bike does this?
@@coca-colaaddicted3156 im thinking maybe instead of changing wires at the rfid box maybe if you bypass the scanner part by just twisting the two wires together to skip it, maybe it wouldnt turn on when charging.
Hey man I have a problem where the black red and black white wires if they get moved at all won’t let the bike turn on, I don’t have them wire crimped but it just twisted them so idk if that’s what it is but I wanted to see if you knew what might be happening
@@BkeRentals try the black red and red. I’m not sure why that is happening but I switched to black red and plain red and it works fine. Try crimps or twist and electrical tape

@@ChargedTalaria most of my bikes have a simple key also its the same thing, im just stating the obvious you made the bike easier to steal. The rfid is more secure and hidden in a much better spot within the wiring harness.
For me I tried leaving the button in . And bypass chip it only works once . But once you turn it off it stays dead untill you disconnect and reconnect the two wires . Not sure if this is cause I didn’t use a key switch
@@ChargedTalaria I got the key switch it works . But if it turned it on and off abunch it would stop turning on untill i disconnect and reconnect wires . I got the key and left nfc disconnect . The light also flashes at times weird when turning on I did that switch install on the nfic module for the chip looks very clean easy to do it’s like a double security measure as well you gotta flip it to Turn on bike and I turn it off when leave it and charging turn off it doesn’t make all the lights turn on
sorry for not seeing this sooner, ive come down to the conclusion that the bike turns on when charging due to the rfid being bypassed, it makes no sense but thats the reason it does it, you could possibly find another way to bypass it, then it wouldnt turn on, but in the meantime i done know how to fix it, and you can do it with a surron or talaria key, but i dont recomend the surron key, because the surron has universal keys, im pretty sure, making it less secure

How did you make the plate that holds the key more even

It’s not, surrons are easier to steal because they have a universal key, this has a unique key

thats odd, you may have cut and connected the incorrect wires. If you want you could give the key switch a shot

i did it all u so is tap into the daytime running light on the headlight which is the brown / black wire and then tap into the ground which is green

It’s a bracket for a screw to hold another screw, you could also cut a piece out of a sheet of metal or something. So it’s just a custom piece

I haven’t found a way to, but it will work with any key I assume
