Sorry forgot to add cast out 60 to 80 yards tighten up and move it a foot slowly keep repeating, if its sunny don,t be at all surprised if the bites come as your about to lift the bait out nearly under your feet. I understand its not beach casting but this method works in all estuaries its a doddle.Always remember watching two blokes at Arnside treading .Can be one of the easiest fish in the world to catch along with minnows and mackerel.

Estuary flounder fishing in clearish water, using a flounder spoon about 6 inches to about 1 foot above your bait retrieived slowly on a spinning rod ,is the best method , i,d have filled a rubble bag where you are.

Beautiful flounder. I caught a Dover Sole once on the Southport side, be the Guy Channel, in my gill net.

hi does this mark have places to park .i usually fish the bullnose at preston but wouldn't mind a try further up the estuary
Hi, the only place you can really park to get to this mark is the ship inn in freckleton, but it's still a bit of a trek
