I have the 2024 black Kia Carnival. I am enjoying it but to be truthful, it is challenging for me since I am not tech savvy! The first time it told me to take a break, I was surprised!😂
Definitely not a regret. I had tested few cars for family cars as well. I tested Peugeot 5008, Innova Zenix hybrid, Honda stepwagon 2023, Alphard 2023. This is what i felt; Peugeot 5008: Comfort driving but lack of latest technologies such as adaptive cruise and anti collision system. Price 160k. Innova Zenix hybrid: Felt like SUV. Toyata tech installed and nice! In addition to that, hybrid system and save more fuel. But, the luggage boot small and no roof rail for installing roof box. Price 205K. Booked because waiting list 5 months. Honda stepwagon 2023 (Recon): Great minivan like voxy. Spacious and comfort to drive. Price 200k. Alphard 2023 (Recon): Same comments with other reviews. Price 305k. Test drive this carnival. Cancel all the bookings above and choose this beast.😁😁
Now it looks a lot more better with black 19 inch rim, & dark windscreen all round...Very imposing & dominant on the road...Thanks aiman good presentation..Thinking of having one but bank balance isn't enough..

I just want to ask for your suggestion. Which one is much better compared to these 3 cars Kia Carvinal 8 seater, Mazda CX-8, and Ford Everest Titanium as a family car with always has a long journey? Appreciate it if you could suggest one since I confused
I bought the 8 seater high at the 4th quarter of last year, do wish I had the blind spot view function but I guess it's ok, dont know what i never had haha (trying to stay positive!)

Strange feeling inside the Carnival. Its a big car on the outside. Also very wide inside. But you are sat like in a saloon rather than an MPV as the floor is high. I felt my current at the time Exora felt more spacious vertically. So tak jadi ambik the Carnival.
High floor , Low roof..even compared to the usual alphard..but drives much much better..much more stable and comfortable,also much more torque..2.5A in the alphard is frankly gutless
Kia Carnival concept is MPV but drives like a car and sit like an SUV. Dont like it, not your cup of tea. The driving is really car like coz I am an owner. Nothing wrong with sitting in saloon cars. If like to be wanna be boss just upgrade to New Alphard.

@@nabillarif The reason for the high floor is the petrol tank. Mounted longtitudinally and extends to under the front passenger seat. The effect is some owners get high from the fumes. One here just thinks highly of himself.
And we still have many Msians living under the shell, thinking Kia is not good. In addition the false perception thinking the two Toyota vans are luxury and a show of status. IMHO those two Toyota vans looks so horrible and pathetic, with the chromes, skirtings, bumpers, out of proportion body shape, and overrated. Kia Carnival anytime, I will get another one in a heartbeat.
I wonder how,i wonder why the engineer so dummy that design the rear lights put indicator lights at bottom(bumper),and its move more inner instead edge of body,dont tell rider cant see,lorry also cant see,wgen traffic jam,that car turn the indcator light to change lane,other driver(side lane)cant see and accident will be occur(malaysian driver tender to change lane when see next lane had a movement) znd a good things is tonns of physical buttons do driver can focus on driving and honda should follow kia lane watch pakage(both side,honda only left)
I bought 7 seaters two weeks ago. Some features are missing in the infotainment such as passenger view, passenger talk, phone projection etc. I saw an advertisement regarding the passenger view feature and i am fond of it because my kids will be sitting at the 2nd and 3rd row. Write email to customer service and I was informed that Malaysia's version has limited function. Feels been cheated. What you got is going to be different from what have been shown. Better check before buying
Passenger view & passenger talk were never available in Malaysia, never included in any marketing material, or ever promoted by Kia Malaysia, BERMAZ, or their partners. It sounds to us like you were looking at material for foreign markets. "Phone projection" is another term for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is standard for all Carnival variants. FYI, you can also get a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine for the Carnival in other markets, as well as a higher roof. But that is not available in Malaysia regardless of how much inaccurate research you might do prior to purchase.

If you need a 7-seater, the Carnival is much better. And it's better on fuel, too. But the CX-9 is a better luxury car.
