Bought a nissan serena 3 years ago coz my kids loved it. For kuching it was a great car. Now that we are using it to travel between KB and KL, the serena is nice for the passengers but a torture for the driver in terms of handling and the comfort. its nice to know that there is something that i can look forward to when my budget allows me to upgrade in the future.

I just book the 8 seaters High...... Before this I look down at KIA may be previously under KIA.... I read the comments from Bermaz management and after test drive fall in love. Terus booking on the spot. Used to drive XC 90 and CX 9....... during test drive feel a bit like driving those cars. value for money and my family love it. Awaiting the delivery. Hope can use during Raya time......keep it up KIA/Bermaz.

I like the kid reviews… cuz they slam the best feelings thou. I am driving a G30 530i Msport, but now having said it is not really a family car, cuz having a 3 yrs old daughter and a newborn baby boy, time to chase something for money, value, usage. I test drive the 7 seater, and my 3 yrs old daughter cried I didnt bring back that car 😂. I mean for those having family esp young kids, if you can buy one of these… with 5 yrs warranty and services… its a buy worriless concept for easily next 5 to 6 years…. Then why you should not consider buying? Its a 2023 wishlist thing for me… trading in my G30 for KA4 7 seater. Lets see! 🎉

I really don't understand people that buying vellparhs, if you can afford that car, that means you're some what rich right?
comfort wise, sound deadening was shit, handling was shit feels like sitting in a boat makes people car sick
most importantly, can you imagine what happen if you get into a high speed crash in that car?
no matter which side you got hit, it's gonna hurt so much compare to other car in that price range
Vellparhs makes sense on Japan,Taiwan,HK and other small country that they doesn't need to get up to highway everyday but Malaysia?
even a normal 3 lane road you still need to bring the car to a certain speed, makes it so dangerous to all the passenger in that car
as a OK income person, isn't that safety is the first priority when you hauling your whole family in a car?

Great in-depth review of this car. However i think it didnt sit quite well for me when you kept comparing it to other high-end SUV’s such as the X5, Q7, etc. Theyre completely different cars in terms of theirs looks, their usage and people who buy those SUV’s are generally looking for cars with that silhouette rather than a ‘van’ look. It also depends on the opportunity cost of buying this compared to the SUV’s as mentioned, such as regular long distance traveling as a family, having a driver so youll enjoy the comfort at the back seat. On the other spectrum, people who purchase those luxury SUV’s as said are people who perhaps drive alone, or with a partner and who do not wish to drive such a long car everyday. Just my personal opinion!

    • @BobbyAngmalaysia
      @BobbyAngmalaysia  ปีที่แล้ว +19

Thanks for your inputs. I mentioned it challenges those is because it handles like one, rides like one and behaves like one and mind I say, it looks the part too. Definitely smaller family decision. Unless ur kids are old enough to climb in and out. Or is it bcos of Toyota? Hahah

Fortuner is not full size 7 seater SUV. With full load of 7 you'll have zero luggage room.

Fortuner - 4x4 .for construction manager,or ladang manager that use 4x4. Not as comfort/road hugging as this KC ,even mall crawler SUV less body roll more stability Than Fortuner. No offense but it a good 4x4 though

Its not even in the same league as Vellfire or Alphard. To begin, its ugly in comparison to the Toyotas, it doesnt have that luxury feel

It rides more luxurious than those, and is miles safer than those.

@@BobbyAngmalaysia unfortunately it doesnt have the same level of prestige as Vellfire & Alphard. No businessman will use Kia Carnival as their business car to meet clients

This is very obviously a family car dude. Dunno why the hate. It is a very well thought up car. If only Kia made their spare parts more available in Malaysia, this car would be a good alternative choice.

Interior of Alphard not even feel that premium dude. Exterior maybe flashy I get it. But this one has more class but many Asians like you don't understand class, just like flashy exterior.

@@zeroxzero159 You will only know its premium after 1 year usage when you realise how well the cabin holds up to wear and tear while korean cars will start to show its age within 1 year.
