I watched a lot of videos from your TH-cam channel in the last week. I learned a lot of concepts I needed to know about. I shared your channel and videos with my respective team members as well. So they can learn from you as well. Thank you very much for giving more value in a short time. There are still around 20 videos in this week's list.
Although the storytelling is impeccable, the final solution doesnt seem to be well thought out. I honestly feel you were a little too dazzled by the presentation of the case study and lost sight of how the final solution actually works. effectively the final solution says -> add 3 filters, then add 1 filter to filter the 3 filters.
@SankethShetty I'm a senior product designer in Silicon Valley and you're right.... This case study and it's solution was not very impressive and quite basic not to mention it was far too text heavy. Not sure why DP thinks this is great example. There's nothing wrong with this case study, but it's certainly not exceptional.
Hey...had a question. You talked about the screens looking visually appealing. I see many real world applications that are not extremely good looking. What I'm trying to say is they don't look "Dribbly(from Dribble)" in nature. Just wanted to understand what is the Industry Standard for Visually appealing screens. As beginners what should we strive for?
How can one do a case study as a fresher ? Especially in the "IMPACT " section and Business value" section how can freshers create a case without real data or real product?
Beginner here. Few questions: 1.But how did she know there was a problem with the explore feature? 2. Did her process include - redesign and testing them only? Or was there some research done which wasn't necessary to be included here. And as a beginner I'm used to seeing personas, journey mapping all the time😅
Product Managers were tracking the metrics and didn’t see good performance. User feedback directly from users. Research basically was feedback from users, business needs and just common sense.
thank you so much for the amazing content and the amount of effort you put into making such long videos no one is doing this it's a great help, also can you tell me where can we message you and ask for a case study review or portfolio or some sort of guidance?
Every video this man does is an eye opener for me, even when I thought I knew pretty much a lot about product design. So much value, congrats.
your work just keeps getting better and better

How do you know it’s not well thought out? What’s your solution? Also didn’t understand your last sentence.

It turns out that I was not the only one who thought that the process raises more questions than answers
Excellent work @Sargam and special thanks to @Chethan for pointing out the things to learn from this case study...super helpful

You don’t need actual numbers. If you can at least define how you would measure, that’s enough.
@@DesignPilot thanks Chetan. To clarify, it would just be the assumpted metrics" on how my designs benefit the business.
Correct
Thank you!
Hey, Chethan does user flow necessary/ important in a cases study?
No
Really appreciate your content. Any tips for beginners to crack good jobs?
