Thanks and great question! It is a low semi-gloss finish. Very minimal texture to it.

Why wouldn't you install it on a truck?

Hi Trevor! It could be installed on a truck, car or SUV as long as the vehicle has the proper rack. We specifically didn't install it on a vehicle for this vehicle because we don't have a shop vehicle with a rack that this works with. Hope this answers your question!
