      It's sort of true and he is largely correct, but, increased blood flow and heat generation in certain areas it seems can help semi-spot reduce, for example
      Jump rope -
      your face tends to drop fat and sharpen up noticeably.
      Walking, running, cycling
      - your legs tend to generate heat and blood flow in the area, which helps lose fat in that area.
      Yohimbine -
      Tends to help drop fat in certain stubborn areas.
      Shrink fat burning cream-
      Wrapped in cling wrap during cardio, my experience, generates heat and sweat in the area.
      Although this is combined with OTC fat burner with Carnitine and sometimes Yohimbine, visibly sharpens up the mid section.
      Though on the surface, I would agree, people generally have stubborn areas which are harder to lose.
      Certain foods may have a pre-disposition to store in certain areas.

      Yeah I think he's saying they can build the muscle to they did not going to specifically burn the fat in that one area but they can build muscle under the fat so in other words if you don't burn the fat you'll never see the results..its like a guy trying to claw up to the top of the ice during a cave in with a small ice pick he could be under the ice working his butt off but if the ice don't melt from the top you'll never see him😄

      That’s not necessarily a bad thing because eventually the fat will be converted to muscle, and burning fat is harder than building muscle...

    I finally got rid of my belly fat, and the key was to have a mild caloric deficit coupled with heavy strength training and 30-60 minutes of heavy cardio weekly, took several weeks from having around 18% body fat originally. Core training does help a lot in filling the area in I found, it makes the area look more proportional, if your core muscles are all underdeveloped you'll always look like you got some extra skin around that area.

      When u say u did 30-60 mins of cardio weekly do u mean u did that everyday of 30-60 mins or you did 30-60 mins worth of cardio in a single week

      @@kadencaldwell yes only 30-60 for a single week(usually 3 20 minute sessions per week), some weeks I'd cut the cardio in half to give myself some recovery time to better focus on weight training.

    Bro you brought a new dimension to my routine..since l first watched your video last 2 weeks..l have burnt 5 kgs from 90kgs to 85kg..all in abt 14 days..all through 4 days a week cardio (jogging) and 2 days a week of HIT and WEIGHTS with one day of rest....l do intermittent fasting too twice a week..but l can say cardio has done it for me in reducing fat.... l can see the result....thank you Bro..your boy from Africa.

    I agree with Simeon, and I’ll piggy back with some additional thoughts.
    The best exercise for love handles is a mental struggle and challenge for most. That’s having the mental strength to lower yo sugar intake gradually. Eat more vegetables. Drink 80% water daily. Eat more green vegetables and fiber. Detox periodically. Then HiTT exercises at your personal physical level and level up faster as you get stronger and build stamina. Finally, heavy weight training and HITT combined. Clean eating and drinking is key.

    I have found that my diet is the key and when i learned that my pants went from size 54 to size 32 in 2 years time. Cardio is great for the heart but knowing your calorie intake is key!

    Walking warm up, light stretch, and an intense sprint to exhaustion. Then supersets. Squat, deadlift, and push-ups with no rest between them but only after a set of each exercise is done. Do five Supersets of squat, deadlift, and push-ups. This kind of workout will burn the maximum amount of bodyfat in the shortest amount of time by working your entire body intensely.

      My love handles r going away. I start withe warm ups and little bit of stretching,then I move on to weight training. After that I work on my abs, I don't do too many crunches , I just use the tummy twister first just to warm up the abs and do some front kicks and roundkicks slowly not too fast and finish of with some crunches thats it . This seems to be working for me.

    If you want the love handles to go. Eat clean, and less often, incorporate a little more cardio, find some core strength workouts that best suit your situation, and above anything stay disciplined, because it takes time to safely see results.

    I was 242 last summer. I weighed 176 since November and thought that I would be underweight if I weighed lower. But I realize my love handles are still there and I will get rid of them. The key takeaway here is workout 4-5x a week and eat in a caloric deficit until you have 0.1% body fat. Great video 💯

    I’m willing to do any work I need to do because like 9 months ago I have started swimming 7 times a week and all are very hard sessions and I had lost fat in every other single part of my body except for my love handles and it’s really pissed me off because as I started to build up back muscles my upper back muscles were getting bigger but my love handles were still there so In essence I looked like an hourglass which as a male is really not the look You want but after this video I think maybe just eating less fatty foods is probably the best for me because I do allot of cardio already so it must be what I eat so thank you this video has helped me

    Years ago I cut out cardio entirely. I regret it now. I see how de-conditioned I've become. Now that I've reintroduced cardio in my routine, my endurance and power is going up. And my body is tightening. I don't know who brainwashed me, but now I know how important it is to both lift and sprint

    Great video brother! As a 250+ guy I battle with these damn love handles! But I feel a lot better mentally knowing FOR SURE that if I’m consistently just weight training and doing cardio I will lose them. So thanks for the clarity man 💪 love the content (SUBSCRIBED)

    Omg! During my workout today I was thinking to myself, I’m going to look up videos on how to get rid of love handles. Low and behold I’m scrolling through my recommendations and see this video. I’m so grateful 🙌🙌.
    With the gyms being closed. I’ve suddenly gained love handles. I have a flat stomach and love handles. And no gym to burn them off. Although this video is old. I thank you for posting this video Mr Panda. It’s greatly appreciated 🙌🙌. And you’re giving a breakdown on love handles too. As opposed to showing us (the viewers) how to get rid of them. I can wait for the gyms to reopen in the UK!! I’m really, really missing the gym 😫

      BriBri82 another tip... eliminate all sugars. You can eat carbs like rice, wheat, sweet potatoes even, etc. Basically eat sugar free carbs and minerals. Search Robert Lusting

    Muscle burns fat so training abs is never a bad idea. Strengthen muscles in your abdominal in turn burns more fat because you’ve developed more muscle. However, Panda is right! Without an adequate fat reduction from diet, cardio and weight training, you will never see your abs. You’re body fat index has to be at a certain percentage to see abs which vary from person to person. In my opinion, circuit training is the way to go including abs. No stones left on unturned! You will see your abs when your body fat is low enough; through diet, cardio and a well rounded workout routine. Working abs will help you keep your abs once your body fat is low enough. Remember, muscle burns fat and you need to train abs to develop good quality muscles in your abdominal. It’s why you can find some people who look borderline fat but have abs showing. At one point and time they may have been very lean but they’ve developed their abs through training and it helped to keep the appearance even when gaining back a few extra pounds. Diet, cardio and weight training is key and training all. No stones left unturned!

      Working abs makes your waist thicker, and they are small muscles so they don't burn much fat. If you over work them hypertrophy goes down (how many marathon runners have thick calves and thighs?). If you want to burn fat work the big muscle groups and cut calories. The best way to get rid of love handles is liposuction because they are an area of genetic fat deposition in men (like hips in women). If you have them they are going to be one of the last areas to be depleted.

      Arnold said that if you have a cheat day on for example on a Saturday (wich Arnold did), then you need to have a 500-700 calorie deficit the next two days and increase your monday workout.

    I’ll be honest ever since I discovered athlean x last year I’ve disregarded everyone one else on TH-cam because he helped me make such a change however the yanks have Jeff and We have Simeon! Awesome videos mate can’t stop watching them I was feeling unmotivated since the gyms closed and I done your full body workouts with my dumbbells and I’ve maintained the little gains I’ve made in my first year of lifting

    Excellent presentation. I know you cannot spot reduce and that love handles as well as lower belly are often among the last things to be eliminated. Nothing knew there.
    But the excellent graphics of the exercises demonstrated, beautiful form makes this video worth while. This man is a terrific coach.

    Thanks man, much appreciated, needed some exercises to help a friend lose weight. When people see they've only burnt 300-400 calories on the elliptical or treadmill, I let them know EPOC vastly increases the metabolism and thus much more calories are going to be burnt at a faster rate from the cardio, so it's really much more than 300-400 over the next few hours.

      Remember, love handles are stored fat. You can train your muscles but you can not train stored fat. Same way, fat can be burn only but it can not be trained. To get ride of love handles you have to burn overall body fat by doing weight training or cardio exercises. We train our targeted muscles by doing special exercises for chest, back, shoulders, triceps and legs. Too reduce fats you have to burn it by doing weight training and cardio exercises. So you can not target fat by doing special exercise. Burning overall body fat is the only option to get ride of love handles.

    I've had love handle issues on and off for years... I stopped power lifting and started running. Run for 45 minutes 4 to 5 times a week stop eating bread and red meat no snacking for 3 months you can weight train or use your own bodyweight as long as you run first.. also do not eat anything past 5:30 no later than 6:00 . Stick to this you'll be cool.. I came from a 42 to a 33 inch waste in that time period.." run on the ground for best results ".. 45 minutes of running for me adds up to 4 to 6 miles
