Don't you run into trouble with this setup, in Europe we have a valve system in the exhaust which allows us to have it straight piped and if we flick the switch we have it on normal exhaust, awesome sound, greetings from the Netherlands
@@Briebabcock8052 out here the Same, i mean if they catch us with that kind of set-up in germany during inspection you have to delete it back to normal and youre not allowed to drive and further in the Netherlands they actually let you go with a warning, that's why some guys have a valve in the exhaust so you can close it when a police is close by

I'm honestly tired of this fuck wits that say diesels are bad for the environment, when it's the damn gassers. They seemingly forget that gas is so heavily refined that is has literally become toxic. At least diesel is the junk that produces power.
@@Briebabcock8052 Exactly, you can make diesels way more environmental friendly than vehicles that drive on gas, do you guys also have restrictions that you can't drive in some cities with a diesel older than 15 years I think it's just complete bs, or that you have to pay more road tax on older trucks/semi's, a lot of european countries have that, luckily the Netherlands doesn't have that, because every owner operator and carrier is against it, they even want everything to be 0 emissions by 2050 apparently the world is gonna cool down real fast that way, out here in the farm lands nobody has a problem with emissions only in the cities, why, because there are so much people living together so they polute more, but don't you guys have a custom valve system so when you open it you have straight pipes

In your situation, I dont think those new trucks come with Jake Brakes, they come with Exhaust brakes or am I wrong?? No matter what you do I dont think it will ever sound like this

I live about an hour and a half south of Huntsville, which means i live 1:30 away from Texas most dangerous criminals and Death Row, whenever my family is headed north on 45 it all ways gives me the chills rollin through there at the crack of dawn with the maximum security prisons watch towers and building lit up by the old school orange lights. driving by those reminds what not to do in life. also F*ck the new emissions bullshit, i never knew a ISX could sound that good sounds like a totally knew engine.
It's a little more involved from early ISX with just DPF, then DPF/DEF and now the x15 with SCR technology. A brand new 389 with SCR will require a lot of nonsense and good luck finding anyone who will risk their business to delete a new truck. The EPA has every shop scared now.
@@malikbrown7141 after 30 years of listening to it, I've gotten over the sound. I would rather be able to hear other things. Like my wife's voice , my grandkids on the phone or the radio. At my age I've gotten past the obnoxious lets rattle all the windows with the jakes.

Truck is an 08 so it only had the DPF filter. DEF was introduced on 2011 and newer trucks.

So if you remove the dpf tank and straight pipe a new 389 it would sound like this?
You don't have to remove the pee tank only shut it off and bypass the dpf filter then install new straight stacks.

Our trucks are in and out of Cali every week, both glider kits and deleted trucks, also never have issues. Cali licensed trucks are a different story.
