The hours are long and hard and you sleep really good when you stop but you will miss a lot of your kids games and stuff like that..... pay came second for me but it was pretty good if you work for a reputable company....As an owner operator, don't jump right into that before sampling the water..... You will meet a lot of nice people and a few bad ones but more good thank god. This is definitely not a job for everyone....and it is hard on a body.. If you have a craft..... my advice would be to stick with that. This is just my opinion of course and others have different reasons

I drive about 100 miles round trip, on my way to work, everyday on interstate 270 and 70 by st louis. Truckers are by far the best individuals to share the road with. the hazard lights salute every time you let them merge makes my morning. stay safe out there

I could almost use your videos for relaxing before going to bed. Little talking, just the sound of the track. I’ve always been interested in the trucking industry anyway since my stepdad drove for a small company here in the state line area of southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
This is great, your truck sounds seriously good. Been looking for something like this for a year! Always been a huge enthusiast so love that you got the pipes screaming, turbo whistling, and even the odd semi-unnecissery jake just cuz its sounds BA. Love the longer versions (i use them to fall asleep).

My dad had a 77 Kenworth A model with the 600 KTA. I’d go with him as a kid and I remember how good I slept hearing the turbo and the CB and the smell of his cigarette.

Been driving trucks since '93. I had a 389 with a Cat C15 in '09. She was a sweet truck and real comfy. Did a run between Montreal and Toronto. Your truck has the nicest sound ever. Very cool video. Thanks. Reminded me of my old girl.

Hey man, No hate, just a legit question. Maybe it's a matter of perspective but I noticed you sit low. Don't you feel more confortable sitting higher? I mean, instead of having the steering wheel or dashboard at eye level, having the top of the windshield at eye level? So you can clearly see the truck nose, it's surroundings, etc... I'm pretty sure you would see more road near front your truck-nose and probably also help avoid accidents. Again no trolling, just curious. Safe travels!
The best way to run a truck in in the floor air ride will beat you to death we own a trucking company and we will tell you do what suits u best but after 20 years of air ride your backs gone be destroyed

Sounds great, but that shifter made me laugh so hard I couldn't hear it. I've seen a guy with three of those extremely long and silly shifters. Seems kinda pointless since you have to rummage around the entire cab to shift. Get a big pot and a spoon if you want to stir...
