Liverpool drew 1-1 with Stoke when the sides met in January 2010. Rafa Benitez wasn't impressed with the refereeing on display several decisions went against his side but he believed they were clear and obvious.

@Kai McCook he says "interviewers try to get managers to say things they shouldn't" and you say "whys that annoying?". Do the FA fines go to your bank account?
@Kai McCook It's bleeding annoying because Rafa already gave his answers, and the interviewer wants a more clearer answer. If the manager or person being interviewed is not willing to give a more detailed answer then don't force them, as it is annoying forcing people to say or do something that they are uncomfortable. But journalists don't understand that, and neither do you.

@@Agent.K. Well that's the thing klopp sold coutinho and invested it correctly. Rafa paid 16 million for a right back glen Johnson also they was changing the right back every season. Like his transfers he just didn't get them right which felt like he was doing wholesale change's to the team every season. Klopp you can count on one hand his bad signings. So I could totally understand why the Liverpool hierarchy didn't have the faith in him (Benitez). Steven Caulker and Loris Karius are the only bad signings I can think of, even Shaqri who I thought was a risk has been a good signing which is why you understand why Klopp would get backed.

He told the owners that he needed a winger, was given £20m and as he couldn't sign a decent winger for that, he bought an attacking fullback with the intention of getting a wingers output from him. Not the worst idea seeing as that is what klopp does himself now.
A poor transfer record isn't really a reason to get sacked also. Winning the CL in historic fashion, beating real madrid, barcelona and juventus over two legs, as well as a memorable victory over united and almost winning the league should see you stay on.
He was sacked as the owners needed a yes man like hodgson whilst they tried to drive the club into the ground. We were hours from being liquidated under the cowboys.
@@thedunyadoneya2628 I also believe the fall out with Alonso contributed the decision and finishing 7th didn't help. Signings of Aquilani was another poor signing as he was already injured prior to signing him. I agree the board was atrocious however they didn't sack Benitez he left by mutual consent got a pay off and went to treble winners Inter Milan.
