Mate, well done, top effort, proper pin it from the start and don't give up! great XC race coverage, work on those rock gardens for next season, full gas, carry the speed then float the bike as del boy would say! really enjoyed watching these video, nice one GC!
Hi Mate, im from Malaysia, really love your videos and really aspires me to go back into XC. Im currently using the 2016 Giant anthem Advanced with the maestro suspension. Im currently thinking of getting the current 2024 Giant Anthem with the flexpro. How does the new anthem climbs especially on the full firm lockout mode and also on open mode. Think u r the only i know can answer me. The 2016 anthem with maestro climbs like a charm. I hope the new one too. Thanks mate and keep on racing buddy.
Hi mate, that’s absolutely mega and for me the anthem climbs really well and having the remote lockout makes a huge difference. It’s much easier to apply power when the bike is bobbing up and down 👌 open mode I tend to only climb when the terrain is really rough and it feels good when I do. I haven’t ridden the 2016 anthem but I think the latest version is also slightly lighter which will also help with climbing 🙌 I hope that helps!
Threshold ladders.... that's what you need to do... Great intervals for this.. Sprint like a loon, 2 mins, then followed by Threshold for several minutes then a few minutes of just below Threshold... mimics race starts and getting used to it.. Good for cx, but more horrible than actually racing. Leaves you a shell of a man but feeling somehow smug😂
A bit delayed getting this one uploaded 😅 the final footage from the mtb season before we are full steam for CX… enjoy 🙌
Well done , love the video you never give up , and always good to focus that your going to win xx
🙌
Great effort dude, that was a tough day out.
Brutal… I’m not sure I’m ready for clanfield cross 😂

I admire the way you GO FOR THE WIN every time!
It’s the only way!
Fun video George. Nice work, but indeed you gotta send it through the rock gardens. Momentum on that is everything.
100% I just don’t have the confidence as I know a crash will hurt a lot more 😂
Glad to be of assistance! For a bit! 😂
I’m disappointed you didn’t wait when I crashed 😂
@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling It's only now I've seen it on video I realised you crashed!😂
So glad I couldn't make this one, that course would of absolutely crucified me😂. Not my sort of course at all. Well done for 4th🎉
😂 it’s definitely a good one to miss 😅😂

Sounds spicy
@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling done some last night, feeling pumped and awesome 👌 (fooking knackered)
Looks a proper thigh burner at start, I can do 20 seconds flat out on static bike then game over!
Yep it was awful… 60 seconds of pain 😂
