the potential for full emersion horror and thriller VR games is insane. And the "tediousness" of something like cleaning a gun can only be experienced in VR compared to pc or consoles.
@pengos1639 rdr2 is the best game ever made. I would sacrifice my right leg to be able to play a full vr port of that game. I know there is a mod that attempts to do something like that but it isn't anything like what a full port could do, plus my pc would die even trying to run the base game on low settings.
In H3VR, reloading some guns is an entire minigame in-and-of-itself. Getting an 18th century musket during a Take and Hold run and reloading that motherfucker under fire is an unforgettable experience
Into the Radius is an amazing title and I'm looking forward to a full deep dive! However, there IS an option to turn on full-body tracking, at least on Steam VR.

Into The Radius is the game that interests me the most. The down to earth, intimate feeling you get from managing your own safe house and maintaining your weapons personally is something that I’ve never seen represented in a game before up until now. Man, you owe it to yourself to play h3vr, it's leaps and bounds above gun world. Extreme weapon detail, customization, mods and some of the best feeling guns in vr along with a really friggin' fun gamemode(Take and hold). Almost all settings can be adjusted too.
@@VirtualBroVR a word of advice: although h3vr has very high quality gun models, it really isn't demanding on pc hardware. Even with a 1650ti it runs great
I absolutely adore into the radius. The loneliestness of the world is what I think makes the game so repayable because every gun or tooth brush or can of food you collect feels like someone there to help you and it makes the journey feel that much easier to playthrough because you know you have something to come back to when you can back from the radius.
I know you mentioned no PCVR considerations, but seriously, H3VR is SOOOO good, and is basically the only VR game I play anymore. Although Into the radius on PC is also magnitudes more immersive due to the significantly improved graphics.
Accessories are a big part of making vr games feel better, and I personally have a bin of random doodads and objects I don’t remember buying Also a full into the Radius review would be very epic :)
I know you dont have access to pc vr yet but if you ever do the best vr gun game/simulator that i have ever played is called Hotdogs horseshoes and hand grenades. Fantastic game if you really like to have a real feel for vr guns and they have a ton of them and other weapons too. You underrated sir but your gonna blow up im sure of it.

Its almost embarrassing how many hours I've played Bonelab, mainly just fooling around in sandbox mode with all the guns there, slow mo and physics. Trying to be as tacticool as possible 😎
You should try ghosts of tabor, it has a safe house where you can store guns on a gun wall, items in your storage areas, craft ammo, and get quests for when you decide to jump into a raid which is when you either choose the island of tabor or missile silo and your goal is to get in and out with the loot you grab along the way and the kills you have gained (unless you die of course) then you take it back to your safe house and do I all again. It's a really interesting and relatable game that I guarantee will have you addicted within the first week, love the vids and I will see you in tabor. (Maybe)
I second this. If you love into the radius, Ghosts of Tabor is very similar as far as mechanics go and is shaping up to be a very good game. It’s early access, so it’s janky but the foundation is there and I get fully immersed everytime
My older brother personally knows the guy who made gun world vr, so it's actually kinda interesting to see it mentioned by you haha He actually worked on the game just for fun too, and he tried many times to get the developer to fix the uh... lower quality aspects of the game, but as you can see, to no avail

Into the Radius is my favorite VR game, and in my opinion has the best gunplay out of them although I haven't played too many. There's just something about rushing into a house under constant fire, enemy flashlights sweeping your position hoping for a clear shot as you painstakingly put all your remaining ammo from three mags into one and realize you've got 24 rounds left and suppressors so damage they may as well be air horns. You pry open a can of food and scoop it out with a knife to get all the stamina back that you can as you stop caring whether or not you complete your objectives and only care about one thing, escape. You hear footsteps and prepare yourself for the end. Then, standing up to peek through a window you're greeted by the game over screen and realize your last save is still in the radius and its time to do it all again. I seriously love and recommend this game. The lack of trigger discipline is something I hadn't noticed but I don't mind it, the guns clipping into walls can be annoying at times but it's avoidable if you know what to do, and if you have a VR capable PC get it on steam, because there's better graphics and you have a full body there.

Then second of all, I don't know how you're able to convince people this well... maybe im just easily convincable who knows. been here since 347 subs❤
I couldn't argee more. Gun play in VR, when done well, is astonishingly immersive and endless fun. The Gunman Contracts mod on Half Life Alyx is my favourite, I only wish there was more than just 2 levels.
If you like vr and have the ability to to pcvr, I would highly recommend H3 vr(hotdogs horseshoes and hand Granades) and vtol vr. They are both games made by solo devs and are a blast. If I ever drift away from vr for a period, it’s one of these that always brings me back.

H3VR has absolutely PERFECTED VR guns and from ONE dev. the modding scene is big, 2200+ mods from great people, with guns in amazing detail the vanilla game is also great, with great detail on guns too fun gamemodes included

I'm actualy impressed at the Quest's ability to run VR games decently, even if with considerable graphical downgrades, without the external aid of a PC's processor.
Ayyyy I hope you make it big. You put a lot of effort into these videos and I mad respect it. I saw one of your earlier comments you are aiming to get a pc to play PCVR games like HL:A and H3VR. Since you did mention map modding for Zero Calibur, I hope you look into the modding scene of H3VR once you get there (although I also recommend experiencing H3VR vanilla first until you are satisfied, then modding the crap out of it). Keep making awesome videos!
Ghosts of Tabor is another shooter that has a good bit of realism. You have your own safe house that you can reorganize to at least some degree and the backpacks work pretty similarly to into the radius, except the items collide inside the backpack so you don't often run into the weight limit (at least I haven't) if there is one. Also the guns feel amazing, sometimes they will get stuck on walls, but other than that they have a weight system, and each gun is really close to their real life counterpart.
Biggest problem IMO is typical controller's buttons are *under* your hand. So when startled, you instantly grip the controllers - which is a natural *defense reflex.* But unlike IRL where you *hold onto* your weapon more - in VR you *drop* your weapon. (it's also why people train to have their trigger finger high above the trigger on the frame of the weapon - so you don't ND when startled)
when i was a young lad i played airsoft with my friends. when i got older i bought real guns but ammo is expensive so i shot only every now and then. now i play something like ITR and it reminds me of those airsoft days but on steroids. even just shooting on the range in ITR is honestly close to as fun in real life. only difference is mag dumping a m4 in ITR doesn't cost $50 IRL. im not saying its the same but daaaamn its close.

Zero Caliber Unloaded has to be by far my favourite game just because of the attachments, The graphics could definitely use some improvement on quest but the PCVR version is my favourite game
@@VirtualBroVR usually whenever a Dev makes an option exclusive to pcvr it's because of hardware limitations on the Quest. Giving how... Moderately optimized ItR is in general it wouldn't surprise me if they removed it from quest to improve performance

Still, I have seen other large Quest games manage to have character bodies so that makes me wonder if maybe it was possible but just not a priority for the devs. Hopefully someday I’ll get to play the PC version bc I think it’ll be so much more immersive!

You're going to love the next Cactus Cowboy game. The gunplay in Plants at War is already chef's kiss, Desert Warfare will be even better. Plants at War is free, I can already recommend trying that one.
One thing I've always hated is when guns in VR don't have weight, this is because I suffer from really shaky hands and lil random movements so in VR shooters the guns tend to get unsteady and poor accuracy making it really hard to aim if they don't have weight
You were playing the Quest version of Into The Radius, the PC port has a body.. oh and you forgot that it has a exellent bhaptic integration.... smoking, shooting, being shot at, etc.., all those things gets send to the haptic vest that has rumble motors on various places... and man, the input that they give you... goosebumps!
About the weight . While you can't simulate the weight distribution in your actual hand , YOU can 100% do it simulated in VR and make the gun heavier in certain areas and even simulate a them being end heavy on long rifles. I have been playing around with VR Weapons a lot lately as Im Both a Gamer and VR Dev working on a huge VR Project for the unreal engine marketplace for myself and other developers to use which should make creating VR GAMES A lot easier.

Not just one safe house, there are a bunch dotted around the maps as well, you can fill them with stuff and it will all be there when you need it :)

There is an option to enable full body in Into The Radius, not sure why it isn't on by default but it is a thing.
Only on PCVR! Sadly all I have is a Quest 2 so I wish they would add it there

when i was a young lad i played airsoft with my friends. when i got older i bought real guns but ammo is expensive so i shot only every now and then. now i play something like ITR and it reminds me of those airsoft days but on steroids. even just shooting on the range in ITR is honestly close to as fun in real life. only difference is mag dumping a m4 in ITR doesn't cost $50 IRL. im not saying its the same but daaaamn its close.
Honestly, TWD: S&S and ITR are the games that bring me back with their apocalyptic survival aspects...

Zero Caliber Unloaded has to be by far my favourite game just because of the attachments, The graphics could definitely use some improvement on quest but the PCVR version is my favourite game
I’m so surprised ghost of tabor wasn’t on this, it feels like a combo of all of these, my personal favorite vr game

I dont know what version of Into the Radius you're playing. But PCVR has full body character as a toggleable option (and I believe its on by default).
I play on Quest 2 where I believe they removed that feature…not sure why.
@@VirtualBroVR usually whenever a Dev makes an option exclusive to pcvr it's because of hardware limitations on the Quest. Giving how... Moderately optimized ItR is in general it wouldn't surprise me if they removed it from quest to improve performance

Still, I have seen other large Quest games manage to have character bodies so that makes me wonder if maybe it was possible but just not a priority for the devs. Hopefully someday I’ll get to play the PC version bc I think it’ll be so much more immersive!
Personally, reloading a LMG in Pavlov is just perfect, since it is probably the most complicated, although it is still simple.

Dude, whgen you get PCVR you have to play Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Handgrenades (H3VR for short). Best VR Gun sim by a mile IMO

Plants at War is free, I can already recommend trying that one.
One thing I've always hated is when guns in VR don't have weight, this is because I suffer from really shaky hands and lil random movements so in VR shooters the guns tend to get unsteady and poor accuracy making it really hard to aim if they don't have weight

Same here. My entire life I basically had mini parkinson's, which makes it SO hard to aim in games especially when it comes to longer range.
You were playing the Quest version of Into The Radius, the PC port has a body.. oh and you forgot that it has a exellent bhaptic integration.... smoking, shooting, being shot at, etc.., all those things gets send to the haptic vest that has rumble motors on various places... and man, the input that they give you... goosebumps!

About the weight . While you can't simulate the weight distribution in your actual hand , YOU can 100% do it simulated in VR and make the gun heavier in certain areas and even simulate a them being end heavy on long rifles. I have been playing around with VR Weapons a lot lately as Im Both a Gamer and VR Dev working on a huge VR Project for the unreal engine marketplace for myself and other developers to use which should make creating VR GAMES A lot easier.

pc only but hotdogs horseshoes and hand grenades (commonly refed to as h3vr) is a really good single player realistic fps/sandbox and has a huge modding community.
There is one game that is called contractors has multiplayer zombie tf2 cod codz and one of the best gun physics and easy modding
One of my favorite vr TH-camr s also into the radius is a great game you should do a deep dive into it
