Decent little innings by yourself! The young first teamer got superb technique, on the LBW I will point out your wicket keeper was hardly over enthusiastic the appeal himself and it did only appear to be GR who was adamant and as a bowler myself, everything is out when im bowling 😆
My Monday is ok now. Cricketing Bison has dropped another great upload. I won’t comment much on the lbw shout. I just know it happens and just gotta get on with playing. And that is what you guys did after so all good.
Like your videos Bison. But with all due respect - most of the times the opposition errors are highlighted, but umpire errors from your end are either hidden away or cut short. And about Anil's action, yeah, it does look like he might be chucking it. There's actually a league process in place for bowlers suspected of chucking. 1) Umpire should report to the captain during the game. 2) Then report it to the tier rep following the game. 3) Any more than 1 report against a bowler will follow league review & assessment. In some cases a bowler could even be banned from bowling unless they can prove their action is legal. How do i know this? I know this because a bowler from the team I currently play for got banned three years ago.
Cheers dude. To be completely honest we are sometimes annoyed at ourselves for being too fair but we just don't have it in us to engage in the skullduggery that goes on. Last season we were the top of all the fair play tables and we were top of the table which showed how many of our own batsmen we gave out. There were teams that averaged 0.1 own batsmen given out per game...... Truly staggering.
Big club languishing and so desperate to win. Very similar to a few seasons ago when they needed less than 10 to win and the young lad was run out by a good few feet but wasn’t given. Luckily we got the final wicket and beat them. Good effort tho Walton.
@@cricketbadger123maybe the best team did win but from the highlights it was a crucial wicket, it looked out to me. Maybe the best team didn’t win? I’ve not lost that much pace, still able to put it through mid 40s.

You used to open the batting a couple of years ago and did well most of the time. Have you thought about trying it again? Also, where is Picky these days? He would smash the ball to all parts on a regular basis.
Ive noticed you and your team get a lot of hate. Sorry i didnt attend. Went to the Test match. Im sure you understand. Impossible to tell from the angle but ill believe it was very unfortunate. Funny how all these randoms are saying more about anils action. Its club cricket. Some people just want it all to stop. Hope you bounce back guys.
had an umpire shocker myself this week. league rules say if one team brings a "neutral" umpire and one doesn't then that ump does both ends the entire game. got given out lbw going 2 stumps down leg after I hit it.
I can understand why it wasn't given. The Grin turns it so much that anything pitching on the stumps will usually miss leg. Great effort all round though
Potentially. But it was so full and was skidding on because it was wet.... It was his quicker straight one. He says it's out every day of the week and twice on Sundays.....
Umpire shocker week - Left Hander, back foot never moved, hits him on the full on ball of his back foot. Massive appeal... pitched outside leg says the umpire... How can it pitch outside leg when it hit him on the full umpire?...
@@thecricketingbison6418 Shame the first wicket wasn't caught by Frogbox camera too, Dwayne Leverock style 6 inches off the ground from a chap of similar stature 🤣
At the end of the day if you play it in the spirit of cricket then you are always a winner, as a qualified umpire it is never easy to always give the correct decision and if you don't fully play with a neutral one then you'll always have these issues, if you agreed to him umpiring both innings then that's even more unfortunate he possibly didn't act neutral, from the view given it looked plum, but it also felt like there was 2 sounds but missing leg as the reason pfft .
IMO leagues should be introducing body cameras for umpiring, or putting in force requirements for umpires to wear cameras. It will help stop a lot of abuse, both from nasty teams, players AND teams cheating, in the long run as well as get rid of players that are just there to abuse people.
Honestly it looked a decent game but blimey that Anil guys action !! Looks like he’s trying to throw a 30 kg kettle bell, poor bloke must be feeling it on A Sunday morning. Also can someone please tell me why he is called the ripper, i thought that was for people who bowled balls that usually spin. Sorry if I’m incorrect only just got into cricket hahah don’t have too much ofa go. Looked a good day for it tho. Walton looked like they were running on wet lettuce when in the field hahaha bit slow!
difficult to tell but has the "lbw shout" pitched or hit him on the full ? what i will say is, Anil is lucky he doesnt get done for his constant "movement" towards umpires when he appeals, its no wonder some folk wont give him decisions when he acts like that screaming in their faces, and that action gets worse and worse, he may as well be a baseball pitcher its that bad. Think its time for ur club to get tough on the actions and decisions from other clubs re umpiring. On the lad who was obviously a level above everyone else, unless the leagues have registered squads and ur only allowed to play in one league then they are well within rights to play the lad, someone could be coming back from injury, out of form, filling in helping the club on a day off etc.
Or they have purposely parachuted him in to the 2nds because it was a top of the table game. The LBW is hard to tell from that angle and the bowler is bowling from very wide on the crease.
@tomd2103 which every club has done over the years, no rules against it, maybe he was working that morning and couldn't make it to the 1st team game etc! "bowler" is being kind lol
why did the umpire not umpire both ends in the first innings. to do only 1 end then do both in the 2nd is actually giving the batting team a helping hand in a way. Also he neds to go back and learn the laws of cricket. not 1 warning for any players both sides for running down the wicket either the batters or the bowlers. Bad luck on the loss boys always next game
My god do you guys ever have a game where you don’t whinge about the umpires. Makes me not want to watch when you perpetually claim to be the victims. Truth is that lbw was almost impossible to tell from the camera angle whether or not it was out. The only thing you could clearly see is that the grin ripper has an illegal action and should be called for throwing it.

I know I know.....
I've never seen so many instances of running directly down the middle of the wicket 😅
That umpire cannot work behind the bar because I haven't seen their south african overseas flirting with it yet!
I hear they call him the slim ripper, could probably help Anil out with that arm action
