    As good as these machines are, I feel like the guy using them is criminally unappreciated. Makes me want a machinedrum and a heat, though I can be sure that there’s a large canyon of talent that needs to be crossed before I arrive at what’s going on in these videos 🔥

      Thanks for recognizing the human that animates the machines that don't do anything until we turn them on.

      @@VoltageCtrlRtv they don’t even do anything after you turn them on 🥲 many times of bought gear off of a video like this forgetting that it’ll take concerted effort to learn the machine and practice using it. Keep it up, tunes are heat 🔥

    @2:25 man... I don't care for the Heat+Fx, I just love what you get out of your Machinedrum. Fantastic sound and great sequencing.

    I just got a machinedrum UW MK1, your sound design with the MD is really inspiring.

    Every now and then I ask myself "Should I sell my Machinedrum?" and all it takes is for a video like this to come up in my recommended to realise how foolish that would be. Absolutely impecable sound design, my friend! That first beat is off the scale.

      I saved another Machinedrum owner! This channel is serving it's purpose. HAHA All jokes aside I really do like reminding fellow artists how amazing some these instruments we have are, we all get uninspired by what we have, but sometimes it's good to dig in and see what else you can pull out of these machines. Thanks for the compliment on the sound design. I really enjoy the craft.

    I love zoning out to tracks like this. 🔥🔥🔥I’ve got some similar sounding ones. Music is a Universal language yo.

      could you actually think about what you mean by music is a universal language? that literally means nothing. Music comes in many different forms in different cultures, and thus there are different languages for organizing sound. Music is in no way universal.
      If you took someone who only knew how to play choral or medieval counterpoint and exposed them to Indonesian gamelan, what is universal in this instance? In what way could they UNDERSTAND how to speak the language or play the language in conversation? In what way is music univeral? You think just because it affects everyone the same way? Thats not what a language is.
      Jazz is a language. Organum is a language. We have different forms, but music is in no way a universal language. Not everyone speaks it, and not everyone understands it. You should take what you say more seriously.
      Think before you write please.

    Great sounds as per usual. I have to ask, who makes the coloured-coiled audio cable your using? Been looking for those everywhere!

    holy fuck it sounds so good, inspiring me to get back and practice on it. well done. How did you get so much variety on the individual machines, eg from @3:30 Is it mostly done with LFOs?

    • @VoltageCtrlRtv
      @VoltageCtrlRtv  ปีที่แล้ว

      having 16 assignable LFO's is one of the super powers of the Machinedrum, any unused LFO's can be assigned to multiple destinations of one machine. I wish all the other elektron instruments did that.

      @@VoltageCtrlRtv yo - could u elaborate this? I use MD quite a bit but what is meant with "unused LFO's can be assigned to multiple destinations of one machine"
