Best raw energy at a show I have ever been to. Stood in line for 2 hours under the L behind the double door with only rumors the Stones were playing. I got wristband #217, they gave out 225. One ticket per person, met some great folks that night!
I come back to this vid many times a year. I hope the people that were there appreciate seeing this show for the rest of their lives. The Stones in a club setting., unreal..
I’m obsessed. Been playing it for 2,weeks in my home through my Alexa, on my TV through TH-cam, in my car I’m fckn obsessed 🎸🥳 It’s ringing around my head word for word in tune. 😂
Taking a band like the Stones thats played every large venue in the world and putting them on a small night club stage. No fancy light show. Basic PA And they rocked! They looked like enjoyed the hell out it!
Wow didn’t know it was unannounced. I’ve only just found it 2 weeks ago after playing the original version at higher rpm and I stumbled on it and wow. I’m obsessed. Can’t stop watching/playing over and over. I love the Muddy Waters stuff they did at the Checkerboard Lounge in 81. I feel blessed I’ve found the whole unannounced gig at The Double Door but 19th nervous breakdown on a lower tempo has literally blown my mind with the quirky little bits Mick and Keith do.. Ive watched it with AirPods tonight 9/10 times. It’s all I hear in my head all day word for word all in tune and the visuals. It’s imprinted in my subconscious mind. Boom 💥 🎸🎸🥳🥳🥳🥳🤪🥳🌈🌈🌈🎸💥
I agree with Tommy down there--there isn't the energy in this song that it deserves. One of the best things about it is how it's fast and energetic. To me it's a great song to play live if done like the record--it could get people charged up. The sound here isn't helping, but it needs to be ramped up, I must admit.
they don't play it that often so maybe you're used to the studio version, they frequently change up their songs pitchmspeed etc, just look at midnight rambler during the Taylor era
@@fabreezethefaintinggoat5484 Midnight Rambler is a great song live no matter how the speed is. Right, I am used to the studio version, and I will also say that all those early songs Mother’s Little Helper, Under My Thumb, Paint It Black, etc. don’t translate as well live to me. Blues songs do well live. Some live performances are just better then others. It’s so sad that Charlie died. I’m glad I finally got to see them two years ago and he looked good. ):
Lmao, this is 28 years after that dream line-up ceased to exist, so that’s a bit ridiculous. As a live band, they were better off with Mick Taylor than Brian too.
Keith looks like Kramer impersonating Keith! Remember the episode where he was trying to find out if Jerry's broker was a drug addict?th-cam.com/video/iCiqR6grJzY/w-d-xo.html
Yeah well … Why you listening to kids bands.. That’s dodgy as fuck. You shouldn’t be showing an interest in kids should ya. Fckn keep an eye on the cunt

I love songs from the 66/67 period
This is why the Stones are so great. This show at the Double Door in Chicago was unannounced.

Love it you got a front row view, i'm gonna sink into you....great garage version.
Needs Bill Wyman's bass.
Together with Brian Jones too.
@@docteursade2 They had better backing vocals when Brian was with them.
What's your Probleme?

Ur right. I think the Rolling Stones do it better. Lol
The Stones are always cool
Wow, the early 60's Stones played this a lot better. It sounds like its dragging.
Nah, they got sloppier in a beautiful way after the ‘60s. They didn’t even truly take off as a live act until 1969, the rest was rehearsal.
EXCELENTE....
Que bueno suena
Double Door Chicago?
Where is the bass line????
Excellent;slowed down a bit
The Huffington and puffington Stones...
Needs to kick it up a gear, too bluesy.
Yeah, i love this song...!!!
no swing. needs to swing shuffle...and bill wyman would be a HUGE help.love the stones..but this without brian and bill misses it.

The bass simply dont belive it
yup my dad was there and he was there because he was told to leave work for being sick and saw them, hes lucky
Paint it Black!!
Better in 1967
Date?
It says so in the title.
Good bye Divebomber!:(
And then you realizaded you are not the same guy you used to be..and never ever will be. But it's ok.

You're the kind of person you meet at certain dismal, dull affairs
Center of a crowd, talking much too loud, running up and down the stairs
Well, it seems to me that you have seen too much in too few years
And though you've tried you just can't hide your eyes are edged with tears
You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your nineteenth nervous breakdown
When you were a child you were treated kind
But you were never brought up right
You were always spoiled with a thousand toys but still you cried all night
Your mother who neglected you owes a million dollars tax
And your father's still perfecting ways of making sealing wax
You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes,…
Oh, who's to blame, that girl's just insane
Well nothing I do don't seem to work
It only seems to make matters worse, oh please
You were still in school when you had that fool who really messed your mind
And after that you turned your back on treating people kind
On our first trip I tried so hard to rearrange your mind
But after a while I realized you were disarranging mine
You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your nineteenth nervous breakdown
Oh, who's to blame, that girl's just insane
Well nothing I do don't seem to work
It only seems to make matters worse, oh please
When you were a child you were treated kind
But you were never brought up right
You were always spoiled with a thousand toys but still you cried all night
Your mother who neglected you owes a million dollars tax
And your father's still perfecting ways of making sealing wax
You better stop, look around
Here it comes

keef is a little tipsy i think
Watts is playing wayyy behind the beat. Dragging.
Like amateurs who just began to play an instrument ....... hahaha
Hey dick face it was a warm up show. If you saw the tour they nailed it
Too slow .
NO good version, too slow
This version is lame , no energy
🤣😂🤣 Fucking hell you donkey. 😂🤦♂️ A bit lame.. ? Like you’d fucking know 😅
And you earned your half a billion £ ‘s how?? As a rock band critic.
I've heard kids bands play better.🤔
