This is my favorite Exivious song by far. It's so rich and full of depth. The build up from 1:46 on is epic. The bass and drums make it happen. And all the extras, just layer on layer on layer; it's gorgeous. Then the solo... oh, the solo... both on the album and here. Tymon has such amazing phrasing. Amazing music!
Oh my god Tymon thank you so much. I was hoping to see the original solo but this absolutely made my morning. All the different layers and textures of guitar work is always beautiful in Exivious, I can't wait for it to show up on my doorstep.
exivious has been such an enrichment of my life...this music is transcending the boundaries of space and time...you guys are definitely one of those who are pushing the boundaries and creating new original stuff...very inspirational..thank you so much!
Thank you for making such amazing music. I've been a huge fan for the last few years and look forward to watching you guys grow as musicians. It's a privilege to perticipate. Thanks again for being so tasteful.
riffs work is amazing, epic & magnificent....dig this footage by a lot.....as well checked out another one track titled as "Alphaform".....both track is rad.....can't wait to hear the full album....hope "Liminal" would be phenomenal.
Sick as always! I was interested to see the solo section and see how close I'd gotten, but I really dig that you tossed the recorded solo and did an improv one. I'm counting the days til the new album!
weird how you didn't see the bass or the drums (or anything but the guitar). Almost like it was the guitarist... doing a guitar playthrough. wonder why it's just the guitar in the video?? SO ODD
How would someone go about wanting to make music like this. I’ve been playing since sixth grade and I don’t feel like I could possibly come up with something this interesting even with my skill
Are any of this bands songs on a seven string? Surprised at how heavy they can sound at times without that added string. Reeeally digging this right now.
Not that theres anything wrong with a 7 or 8 string (more room for wctivities in my opinion) but you really recognize a good guitarist when they can make music so beautifully without any extra strings. They really know their theory!
Wow. This is gonna be very interesting. Totally looking forward to purchase this record. I hear some Allan Holdsworth in there as well... so you also aspire to the best electric guitarist on earth, which automatically connects me.
it works for me to treat some of the extended sections as expressions of the root notes. it also helps to have listened to some jazz music! look into Kurt Rosenwinkel
I don' t know, to me , they have lost their personality with the loss of their head ...But I don' t mind, I just don' t get used to it . And I'm used to torture the bottom of bassists my pointy Ibanez , maybe that's a valid reason .
Sounds great guys!
Hey :D what models can you make for a Parker Fly (pre 2003)?
a breath of fresh air to the guitar community
Tymon has some of my favorite guitar solo's, this being one of them.

Oh my god Tymon thank you so much. I was hoping to see the original solo but this absolutely made my morning. All the different layers and textures of guitar work is always beautiful in Exivious, I can't wait for it to show up on my doorstep.
Loved the ambient stuff in the background as well. Really subtle, but with great effect.

From 3:50 to 4:51 it sounds like Thordendal's secret of the unknown, amazing ! love it

Man the chords in that opening section are awesome. I love how they cycle and the rest of the instruments wrap around them. Builds some great tension.
Very interesting lead work here. I love it!
It's just purely breathtaking. And I know I can't cover this song, maybe any song in this album in at least 10 years.
the solo section screams Holdsworth, reminds me a lot of the live in japan version of tokyo dream
I can't get enough of this masterpiece!
Brilliant song. Can't wait for the full album!

There should be more bands like you and Disperse.
Excellent!!!! you are a master!
Tymons playing is like listening to a story. Deep and psychological.

Good work man !
I got your album because of this video and it's great. But I just love this solo. You'd make my day if you would make it available on iTunes. Please?
did you know you had a bass player? I'd love to see him play also!
weird how you didn't see the bass or the drums (or anything but the guitar). Almost like it was the guitarist... doing a guitar playthrough. wonder why it's just the guitar in the video?? SO ODD
looks good...
This is absolutely incredible! How do you get that many guitars to come through in your mix? There are so many harmonies as well!
Pure genius
Awesome! Does anyone know what the time signature of this song is? Thanks!
How would someone go about wanting to make music like this. I’ve been playing since sixth grade and I don’t feel like I could possibly come up with something this interesting even with my skill
Tymon is fuckin' god man. Holdsworth reborn!
Are any of this bands songs on a seven string? Surprised at how heavy they can sound at times without that added string. Reeeally digging this right now.
no its all 6 string
Not that theres anything wrong with a 7 or 8 string (more room for wctivities in my opinion) but you really recognize a good guitarist when they can make music so beautifully without any extra strings. They really know their theory!
Noah McCoy Definitely man, I'm blown away by this show of musicianship! Gotta step up my theory game.
I really wish Tymon would post some technique/tip videos. These guys are definitely on the top of my list for favorite guitarists
There are parts of the first Exivious album where Michel used his 7 string, but it's pretty sparse.
Absolutely awesome!
What's the main guitar you're playing?
(also, pretty cool fretless guitar ;) )
amazing !
Hey Tymon, have you checked out those Strandberg guitars? What do you think of them?
Wow. This is gonna be very interesting.
Totally looking forward to purchase this record.
I hear some Allan Holdsworth in there as well... so you also aspire to the best electric guitarist on earth, which automatically connects me.
so can anyone tell me what important scales construct this ?
6:09 you can see the guitar on the bottom left is headless
What Seymours do you use? Is this SH-4 or SH-5?
Great stuff but what about the other guitar player?
Nice pants
The one appearing at 5:46 !
damn that fly is shorter than an s series lol
its not headless?
That is a Parker Mojo.
Tymon... during your solo, even your nutsack is shaking. (no, really)
great pants
Great, Tymon :)
Watch my entry at Exivious - Entrust (Solo Contest Entry)
Thanks to Allan Holdsworth a lot of great musicans like exicivious appeared

idk how this can be pleasant to an ear

it works for me to treat some of the extended sections as expressions of the root notes. it also helps to have listened to some jazz music! look into Kurt Rosenwinkel
I certainly wont buy the new cynic album but this for sure :)
I like Cynics new material tbr, it took me a while to get used to though.
SilentThrowDown well, each to their own. I am not satisfied with their new stuff
They look so jaaaaazzzzz, but I really dońt like headless guitars !
he isn't playing a headless guitar
punk jazz ho no, I mean jazz metal
worlds longest whammy bar
Well, i guess, a head :P
I don' t know, to me , they have lost their personality with the loss of their head ...But I don' t mind, I just don' t get used to it . And I'm used to torture the bottom of bassists my pointy Ibanez , maybe that's a valid reason .
AMAZING, but Tymon, your pants sucks!!! :DDD
