Battlefield 2042 Infantry Only Conquest is quite fun on some maps! Let's play the new game mode and have a good laugh! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
I'm glad I returned Cod modern warfare 23". And gave Battlefield another chance. Runs better looks better, plays better than Cod. Still the best online shooter franchise. Second 🥈 goes to Halo Infinite.
It's not bad now. It's definitely not great, plenty of problems like hit registration, balancin ,map design. Pretty fun for casual play. Terrible if you're looking for a complete experience.
I feel the little chat and "longtime fan" stuff. My brother and I obsessively "studied" Jackfrags, Matimeo, LvlCap, and XFactor for ways to counter USAS-12 lol We learned callouts like "rugs" and "blue market" and how to prefire corners. My brother is, devastatingly, no longer with us, but these memories are some of the most important to me. So thanks for being part of them.
I miss the naval vehicles and gameplay from bf4 and the bf1 campaign like mode that progressed to different maps based on how the match went. Submarines? And scuba infiltration to open a match? Drivable aircraft carriers or an air craft carrier mode where you have to resupply or earn points to spend on resources as a team between matches? Some fun larger scale ideas
I thought tanks worked out really well in BFV. Not only were they well balanced, but they also had pretty detailed systems for how damage works and modifications you can make. I think bringing back that system for future games would fix some of the problems
BF2042 is fun from time to time for a few rounds but I’m still disappointed how it turned out in the end, won’t ever feel like a real Battlefield title. How did they even manage to step so far away from BFV, BF1, BF4 and BF3 and deliver this lol
the squad call ins in BF5 were amazing. It really helped in promoting teamwork and the squadleader actually giving orders. I remember a game of frontlines that we were about to loose but we managed to win by calling in a last second V1 rocket. That were awesome moments.
Hey Jack, I feel you about the text messages. I have no one, and the only time someone wants to text me, it's when they need something. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm use to no texts that when I even get one message, it kinda pisses me off 😂😂
This game is miles ahead of what it was when it first dropped. However, I’ll be waiting for the next title. I’m never going to get over those first 6 months of one of the most buggy, unfinished games i’ve ever played for. I’m still happy to see people enjoying battlefield 2042 again though. Good games deserve to be enjoyed. But this one will never be for me.
Yeah I hope the plus system stays around too. Just a great quality of life feature being able to customize your gun and switch optics. Would hare to see it go
I do agree but not so likely for those who wants wines about "it is not battlefield" or "it ruins the game it should be like the previous game where what attachments i use on my gun should be it." God i hate having my pants down moving from CQ to mid and long range.
@@swector_unit4257 yeah like no reason you can't keep that feature other than people will complain it's not realistic or something dumb. I just want all the quality of life things in an improved bf3/4 kind of game and I'll be happy. 2042 is pretty darn good now tho not at least imo
They could go for a further in-depth customization in the next game too, but keep the plus system the way it is right now. It’s like Crysis, and that’s objectively a good thing.

I have no problem with heavy vehicle warfare in battlefield, the problem is when you give infantry less and less options to counter them. Battlefield 3 and 4 did it perfectly, plenty of options to take down heavy tanks and choppers, and power vehicles actually required skill to do well with. However, a skilled tank driver or pilot could do serious damage.
Similar, but I would prefer the air vehicles to have a set amount of flares or a longer recharge. Feels pretty much impossible to take them out at times.
Honestly, the perfect storm is brewing for the next battlefield game if they do it right. A game with the atmosphere and graphics of 1 and V, the gunplay of 3 and 4, and the destruction of BC2 would explode into one of the most legendary shooters of all time. Also, I doubt this will happen, but if they don't include battle passes or microtransactions, the thousands of people that decided not to play because of those things will buy the game. A game full of content, atmosphere, and freedom w/o bullshit microtransactions would sell so well and revive people's hope in this franchise. I dont really believe that any of this will happen, but we can hope. Edit: And a bug free launch so the public first impression is good. I'm positive that if this happens, it'll make more money than 2042 and its microtransactions ever did.
the MINE Video war awesome ^^ Loved it. It was the time when I really got into BF2 and all the fanvideos. There were some cool frag and fanmovies made with BF2 and also BFBC2 :)
Hey Jack, do you ever plan on making more gun guides for 2042? I know you did the assualt rifles back when the game launched, but a lot has changed since then and I'd really like to see your takes for the other weapon classes.
I wish EA would just remake BF:Vietnam. Having vehicles is totally fine when the infantry have good visual cover - that game FORCED good comms/map marking, it was such an excellent game for organised-play. Also have a giganto-mousemat! They're amazing :)
The infantry-only part of the BF fanbase has always been strong. I'd be surprised if the next game doesn't launch with either a map or a mode that caters to them.
1. Infantry Conquest doesn't sound too good, since combined arms is one of the main reasons I prefer BF over other shooters. 2. Vehicle balance still matters though, and so I strongly support balance changes that prevent them from being out of control powerful (and little birds are a good example of this, especially on some maps). 3. With 2042's larger player counts, I've long believed it needed Planetside 2 like vehicle purchase system, where everyone slowly trickles in a resource that can be used for the heaviest of weapons/vehicles -- this prevents the archaic-feeling weirdness where you can feel irritated that some bad player took the team's only tank and really hurt the team's chance of success as a result. Including situations like those bad players who just disposable-helo your transport heli at the start of a round (despite that being an _insanely_ good team tool if used properly).
Liz isn’t op against aircraft? The problem is they nerfed anti vehicle too much in this game and Aircraft ruined BF4 because they nerfed AA and they carried on nerfing AA and Anti Armour in this game
BF1 is the best for actual immersion, which, from my perspective, is the most important part of a video game, never mind "battlefield." Bf1's original TTK was legitimately realistic and made semiautomatic rifles (boring) extremely fun to use
I went back and started playing 2042 after not playing for over a year and all I can say is wow, they've really made huge improvements. I'm having a blast
Bad Company 2 and to a lesser extent BF4 both handled vehicles quite well. DICE should look at those as reference for how to approach vehicles in the next BF.

@@Thedefenses In past titles, if you equip Short range sights such as Kobra or coyote sights, you will go close to the enemy to kill them. if you equip medium range sights like ACOG, you will stay away from enemy to kill them. For long range scopes, you will stay farther away. So it will take more lifes for us to experiment with them and strategize ourselves according to that attachment like staying at which location suits that attachment the best. Also, If i equipped a long range or medium range scope, and an enemy gets very close me, i should able to or trained with these sights in close range to kill them. This strategy of engaging and adoption takes time to understand according to our attachments. But with plus system, If we get farther we change it to medium to long range and if we get closer we change it to Short sight suddenly. This defeats that strategy of engaging and adoption to the scope attachments. My last statement also apply for barrel attachments. Strategizing and adopting ourselves will give more fun in long run than getting more kills. Thats why BF4 and 3 feels very better than 2042 in one way. Plus system gives more ability and freedom, but it takes away that adaption effect to each attachments. Thus spending time with each attachments reduces and thus experimentation reduces. Players use this plus system to have instant advantage of getting kills rather than adopting to attachments. This is the negative part of plus system. Imo, this system is more suited for BR like modes where one life matters. Again, plus system allows us to select different magazine when we are low in ammo. This reduces our dependency on ammo crates. Hence when a players pick support class, they tend to carry medic crate more rather than ammo crate, due to plus system. For an engineer player, resupplying rockets becomes difficult.
i try and comment and like everything you post. i've been watching for years, what got me started watching you was BF content, when i think BF i thnk jackfrags automatically, so when i see new BF content i usually come watch. BF is my go to shooter and i hope DICE really pulls through with the next one and blows us all away. not saying 2042 isn't enjoyable, just took too long to get there.
I hope we just get better infantry/vehicle balance. We should definitely have more maps with less vehicles/only ground vehicles, but the biggest issue is just the terrible balancing. BFV, BF1 and BF4 all did it way better
Me too, but I don’t think the current gang has much interest in all getting together to play 2042 unless there’s a big update or something. I’ve been wanting the same thing though and watching some of the old Squad Up BF4 videos to hold me over :)
Jack, a Battlefield game without vehicular warfare isn’t a Battlefield game. One of the series’ pillars is that multidimensional warfare. It must be a part of the core game, but infantry only experiences can be crafted in addition to.
I bought Battlefield 1 and Battlefield v on Steam at a discount and it is the first time I have played both games and they are great, especially Battlefield 1, I loved it
May be my first comment ever on your chanel, allways watch your vids if they pop up in my frontpage. Keep doing what u doing, seems like u have more fun too this way. Allways a plessure to see Jack, Tomo, Stone or them 3 together.
Battlefield has always had infantry-only maps. Vehicles has been a core gameplay feature since the beginning of the franchise. It almost died when the change the squad mechanics and roles with this game. Getting rid of them would lead it to a certain dead this time.
Love watching your videos hung over with a few beers . I play BF2042 , sure it could be better . But you could say that about every BF game ever made . As long as you are having fun that's all that matters , sometimes I get sick of BF and start playing Titanfall 2 . Love Titanfall 2 so much it's like crack to me with music .
I feel like Battlefield fans has always liked infantry combat. I remember back in BF2, the most popular servers were infantry only servers. My brother and I used to play Karkand infantry only all the time.
Dice was going in the right direction with vehicles in BFV - no auto health regen, no infinite ammo. Why on earth did they dumb it down again in their next game?
Yep Jack I get anxious when people text me. I worked out that I had become a slave to my phone/ responding quickly to others. So about a year ago I switched off the noise alert function of my phone for messages and life is heaps better. I figure that if it’s important, the person will call. Has really reduced my sense of urgency around having to respond to every message all of the time
I think squad callins would be fantastic. I really enjoyed them in BFV. Even if it's a modern / near future game, you could just f.e have the Hind or Condor be a call in, and have basic transport helis like in BF4. I really enjoyed the concept of play like a squad, and grab a crocodile and work as a squad in a tank to make it work. I know they wanted to go for that with the weapons stations (probably) but it feels VERY different. If you saw a Crocodile in BFV or a Sturmtiger you'd join it and try ur best to keep it up. I would atleast.
I've always been pretty much solely an infantry player, but helis and tanks gives battlefield those cinematic moments sometimes so imo for the next game they have to be in (despite how much grief they give me lol)
Infantry only without attack choppers , jets , tanks has always been good. Its the best comp mode too everyone already has a lot of kit and the transport vehicles can shine more as utility and extra firepower without just dominating the foot soldiers everywhere it goes.
I have been wanting to play bf1 but my matchmaking is always failing even though it says there are servers. Anyone got a fix or had similar problems? Keep the good work up jack!
Vehicles are nice and love playing with it. It's always satisfying to support vehicles and taking down enemy vehicles. But sometimes it can be tiring, so infantry mode is a nice to have.
Speaking of next game I hope they keep the vehicles. It's Battlefield after all! Some tweaks like no ammo/armour regeneration on them could probably help to improve the balance. Vehicles should be fun to use but very hard to abuse.
So something similar like in bf5 because if we get no ammo and there isn't a way to get it back then yeah what would even be the point of bringing a tank.
Back in the day didnt vehicles have to return to base to get more ammo? like BF2 days? I'm not against it, takes them out the fight for a little while. They definitley shouldnt get rid of vehicles though, the combined arms experiance is a massive part of the BF games. Dice just need to not balance like morons.
Full boots on the ground, played really well on this map!
Have you played BF3/BF4 recently? If so, how it been?
I always found full infantry modes like Rush and TDM way more enjoyable than CQ in this game. That could be just me though.

Unexpected texts from people I haven’t spoken to last couple of days and calls in general make me anxious too even when nothing is wrong.

“I always wish in this game I could mount. You know, like in Call of duty”
*Proceeds to Laser someone regardless
Classic BF video. Thanks for the entertainment, Jack!
we all know jack the text msg was from the wife saying hello big boy how you doing. Great vid mate as always
I hope we just get better infantry/vehicle balance. We should definitely have more maps with less vehicles/only ground vehicles, but the biggest issue is just the terrible balancing. BFV, BF1 and BF4 all did it way better
I’m loving the 2042 content! Hopefully Season 7 is another solid update with a lot of content.
We can only hope lol
watching you play makes me want to play Battlefield so badly but I know I suck at the game so much
I would love to see a couple hour stream of this gameplay with you and a few of the lads
I bought Battlefield 1 and Battlefield v on Steam at a discount and it is the first time I have played both games and they are great, especially Battlefield 1, I loved it
Battlefield 1 is still amazing bro.
Even I bought both, installing bf5 rn want to see how much good is this game cuz it overtaken mw3 in steam most played games
"They're nerfing liz, you know the ginger lady with the rocket launcher"
Something you should never hear about in a BF game.
May be my first comment ever on your chanel, allways watch your vids if they pop up in my frontpage. Keep doing what u doing, seems like u have more fun too this way. Allways a plessure to see Jack, Tomo, Stone or them 3 together.
I really liked the scary anxious texts talk lol
Best Intantry Maps was 8n my opinion Guilin Peak. Spend Tons of hours in that with Friends. This Videos reminds my of that Times. Nice!
Liz is the only counter to air vehicles. Every other engineer class requires another class to do something laser destination, resupplie etc.
My favorite part of BF2042 was always wrecking people with the helis
A smile? That guy is having the gaming day of his life😂 meeting an idol ingame is allways fun
I haven’t played battlefield since BF3, but every time I see a Jackfrags video of him playing, I click immediately 😋
its actually crazy how the footsteps in this game have never failed me, its always coming from exactly where i think.m
Dice was going in the right direction with vehicles in BFV - no auto health regen, no infinite ammo. Why on earth did they dumb it down again in their next game?
Battlefield 2 vanilla on pc had dedicated servers and the most popular ones involved no vehicles. It was alot of fun
Yep Jack I get anxious when people text me. I worked out that I had become a slave to my phone/ responding quickly to others. So about a year ago I switched off the noise alert function of my phone for messages and life is heaps better. I figure that if it’s important, the person will call. Has really reduced my sense of urgency around having to respond to every message all of the time
hats off to jack for mentioning the seagulls haha what an OG video! =)
Bring back bf3 noshar canal days sitting up on top of the crane with an 870 with slugs and a sniper scope
I've always been pretty much solely an infantry player, but helis and tanks gives battlefield those cinematic moments sometimes so imo for the next game they have to be in (despite how much grief they give me lol)
15:09 Yes! That was a great video. :D
Shotguns working like Shotguns
"Meh its broken" 😂
Infantry only without attack choppers , jets , tanks has always been good.
Its the best comp mode too everyone already has a lot of kit and the transport vehicles can shine more as utility and extra firepower without just dominating the foot soldiers everywhere it goes.
I don't know why, but hearing Jack mimicking the "Mine Mine Mine" seagull meme really tickled me !
I’m just glad the guy in chat spelled quite correctly
Definitely need to make this a permanent mode, I get mostly killed by vehicles, and take to many shots to take down.
I want a good urban map that has a lot of destruction available for players to take advantage of, including a skyscraper or two to take down
I have been wanting to play bf1 but my matchmaking is always failing even though it says there are servers. Anyone got a fix or had similar problems? Keep the good work up jack!
just bought this over the huge sale and im glad bc its so fun, and movement feels great
you are a legend mate. you always chill me out keep doing u bud, always enjoy your vids
@@TheHustler245 idk about bc2 I had played part of the campaign not the multiplayer because I was still in elementary school at a time.
