For some reason her voice sounds so normal to me lol. Like a lot of people in this game, there voices sound exaggerated. With her, it's just very natural as if the VA isn't even playing a character.

I really don’t know how, but Hapi really just melted my heart, especially when I saw her timeskip design. She’s just really kind, despite having a weird outer shell. But it’s nothing I really mind. It’s charming, in its own way.

I find this quite funny, because the first thing she ever says to you when you interact with her as an NPC is "I was told you were beautiful but obviously that's not true". So that means Hapi flirts by calling people ugly.
She’s the classic “I like you but I’m really bad at showing it” trope.

I think they can only support with the characters that you use in Ashen Wolves. Since Dedue isn’t in Ashen Wolves and Ashe is, that explains it.

I love the fact that she gives nicknames to other characters. Reminds me of Gaius in Awakening and Varric in DA inquisition in that aspect and I LOVE them all

Thought so as well that seems strange to say in the english version when someone's proposing to you(not to say wanting a cat together isn't cute) Also her pair ending with Byleth suggest that as it mentions their kid writing a book about their love for each other. Well she's 100% best girl now!

Damn...Hapi is great wife material! I love how honest she is with her feelings and her carefree attitude which is such a refreshing personality for this game! Its also very cute she has a crush on Male Byleth and nicknames him "chatterbox" so nice. Glad her wedding ring has a way to prevent her curse from triggering because she's definitely gonna need it where they'll be going!😏👀

Flayn mentions in her S support that she apparently often imagined being with byleth.
Shamir also admits in her S support that she used the "you remind me of my former mercenary partner" to hide her feelings for byleth because she was scared it would ruin their friendship if byleth doesn't wouldn't love her back.
Honourable mentions to Marianne and constance, the only girls who propose to byleth before he gets the chance to pull out his own ring.
Also kudos for edelgard, lysithea and bernadetta, for having by far the most obvious "unadmitted" crushes on byleth.
Special thanks to bernie, for being the only girl who hits on byleth before her S support in a non-mistakeable way.
Also eternal gratitude to sothis, for not being a cringy romance option, despite effectively being an imaginary GF.

I personally didn't dislike sothis as a character but I also think they straight up didn't write her well.
On one hand they've tried to kinda uphold her "almighty-alien-god-aspect" and maturity. On the other hand they've tried to usher in these little, almost "tsundere-like" moments near the beginning of the game.
They never managed to write a believable friendship between byleth and sothis. Byleth's lack of emotions is of course partly at fault (although the male version has slightly more character than the female if you ask me). But it's also because byleth simply never showed any interest in sothis' background or personality. He simply acknowledged her whenever she spoke to him and then forgot about her again. Never ever did he initate communication with her.
So when sothis fused with byleth and turned him into the enlightened one it really felt like sothis did this simply out of necessity. Not because she wanted to save a friend. And byleth didn't really mourn her "disappearance" afterwards. He kinda just accepted it and moved on, forgetting about her once more.
I don't have a problem with the whole "underage loli" insinuation since sothis is clearly ages old and most importantly (mostly) behaves like she is ages old. She's very mature and sometimes even acts motherly when she thought byleth needed it.
If sothis is a cliché loli, lysithea is a super-cliché loli.
But yeah, they kinda just didn't write her well enough if you ask me. She appears like a major character because she's obviously the progenitor god but gets treated like a minor side character.
Things that would've massively improved her character:
-rank up events with byleth
-more dialogue lines commenting on stuff byleth does or happens to him (not necessarily story related. Could just be commentary about him meeting certain students, hanging out with them, doing certain activities and so on. Just stuff to flesh out her personality, opinions and feelings)
-a conversation with rhea and/or seteth&flayn (perhaps in the church route silver snow)
-her perspective of the war against the agarthians or generally dialogue about the time when she was still alive
-appearing post timeskip more often (makes 0 sense that she can return to marry byleth but not for anything else)

It's so worth it. Seriously get this game it's incredibly fun
I don't think the game is worth it if you're already looking through the supports and dialogue. Combat is still pretty fun though

This new dlc character for 3 houses is so cool! This romance route was pretty cool, and she looks absolutely stunning after the time-skip! Very cool!
That ending was so good.... I'm sure it'll be even better once I play it and actually bond with her. It'll be fun playing with her too knowing that the whole time she has a crush on Byleth lol

Anonymous it’s only $25 my guy. Considering you get 4 new characters that impact all the routes, new classes, items, paralouge missions, new outfits, new activities to bond with characters and a whole new side story it’s definitely worth the money.

Normally, I find the student/teacher pairings weird. And I still do. But I think I'll make an exception for this one. It's very cute and wholesome the whole way though. And I can honestly see Hapi and Byleth just chillin. If only Byleth had some actual voiced lines though....
I'm also not too keen on making the ring a plot device to whisk away Hapis curse. I personally would have preferred a situation like Linhardt/Lysithea, where it is made a point of focus and resolved in the epilogue. But it's nothing new with Fire Emblem S supports, so eh.
