So basically you can have an elderly group home too with a home manager as well. In some States it's about the Language of it as well when it comes to your zoning as well

Yep exactly, the phraseology is different in the different states, which causes some confusion; you also wan to be careful on how you talk about care homes/facilities when talking to zoning to make sure it's clear what you're trying to do.

This dude seems to know what he's talking about, without knowing too much I'm impressed that he's offering an alternative to traditional homes while increasing the availability. I'm not in a position to do it myself, but if someone already cares for an elderly parent or grandparent and has extra room, worth a thought. Not for everyone, but the need is only going to grow.

Yes, you should be able to do that as long as you're a licensed facility and the residents aren't family members.

The process really depends on the state and how quickly they can process things, it can be a few months up to a year, but depending on how you set up the home you may be able to start without a license.

It depends on the state; each state sets their own rates and it's structured slightly differently in each state, so it's hard to give a blanket answer.

Great question, yes, I've obtained over $1million in grants with my entity in Colorado, which is a for-profit, LLC.
Not all grants are made available for a for-profit LLC, but they are out there if you know where to look.
