Would love to know your thoughts on doing something international and nontraditional to start up?

I've never seriously looked at doing something international. I have had conversations with people in Mexico and in Europe in the past and my basic understanding is assisted living can be quite different in different countries.
I definitely think it's looking into, but I'm not an expert (yet 😉) on international assisted living

Hi Brandon! Thanks for all the value you add through your videos! I am thinking of purchasing a functioning, turn key ALF. I don't have medical background or experience. Can I still apply for the ALF Manager certification? Even if I get it, do you recommend I hire a part time assistant RN to administer meds? Thanks

      Thanks for the kind words!
Yes, you can get the Manager Certification, I think it will be helpful to have that background for sure (even if you ended up hiring somebody to do that work for you). And, yes, I'd suggest getting a part-time RN to help out with the medication piece of things, that is another good way to go to make sure that part is covered.
You will want to check on the requirements in your state for that certification though, oftentimes getting the manager certification is a combination of education, experience, and completing their test, so you'll want to make sure you meet all the requirements.
      Good luck!

Would love to get in touch with you. Could you help someone out of CT?

Would love to chat - the easiest way for me to see if I can help you is have you apply to my mastermind program (alimastermind.com/application).
From there I can review where you're at, your goals, etc. and if I can help you I'll send you the details on my program and if you have questions or need to review anything at that point we can schedule a quick call.

Hey Brandon, I’m out here in San Diego California. Where everything is expensive. I’m looking to buy a large eight bedroom home and looking to convert it into a 15 bed RCFE facility. Do you have any advice on finding an investor or someone willing to with me in my business. Thanks

Thanks for the comment and I love the vision for what you want to build.
I think you're best bet is to start going to going to real estate meetups and developing relationships with people there; and by that I don't mean go to one and think it doesn't work, go to them consistently to build relationships.
Another great avenue is to build your business plan so you can outline your vision on paper and then start talking about it with people and once they seem interested send them the business plan so they can actually see what you want to build and from there start talking about needing money to help you get started.
      Hope that helps!
