You should hit Flamingo's by the pound, kinda a fun experience in NY. Maybe a less curated one too like a goodwill or L train or something.
I've heard a lot of people like beacon's closet in NYC i think there are 2 locations maybe try them next time.

Thrifting has saved me so much cash. Got brand new Magnanni loafers and Converse for super cheap. Even found a 1946 military wool jacket for $30 bucks! Super unique stuff and great prices, with patience. Just make sure to have a good tailor on deck to get the clothes fitting proper!

Pretty nice format btw, to have the people explain the store and their systems. Here every store like that just sells clothes, they don't buy any.
@ anyone in the NYC area, t easily the thrift I get the most consistent cool unique shit in the NYC area is actually the Red White and Blue thrift in Patterson NJ. Cash only, half off most goods on Saturday, have always left with something. Definitely a hassle to get to without a car, but conversely I've gotten 3 sweaters, a leather jacket and a scarf for $40 so. Probably not in Marcel's lane of content but worth going to (closer to opening the better, parking gets bad pretty quickly).

Hitting up the thrift store on Saturday! Getting some more polos and slim fit trousers to actually replace all my skinny jeans. Worn jeans since I was in junior high so trying to change my style as far as size goes I've mainly worn a 32 waist but not sure if I should go for a 30 instead especially if I plan on wearing with belts maybe I should stick with the 32? I have a pair of jeans not skinny that are size 30 and actually fit well with or without a belt but If anyone can provide any insight its truly appreciated time to move on from the skinny jeans since I turn 30 soon love your content! Personally a 32 gives me some more room lol so perhaps I should stick with that for the trousers.

@@flippinzippo9670 Funnily enough, the stuff that farmers had worn is what a lot of the vintage people like actually, in the sense that clothing someone wore hard tends to be unique. Doesn't hurt that workwear is built to last.

people dont know how much 100 of dollar clothes they can get at thrift stores the things i see at them are baffling especially in RICH areas they toss shit away that just blows my mind, haven't gone into a mall store in ages. Also don't do this in cities they jack up the prices way to high. When you started saying 50/60 dollars that aint thrifting anymore.
