Im working thru MD1 vs Claymore Vs Meteor right now, I think the Claymore is edging the others right now. Explorers(many) are firmly in the bag. I love the Swedish plastic tho.
I don't use all of these, but I've had the experience of Instinct vs. Explorer. I'd say the main difference is that the Instinct has a slightly more rounded rim. The Explorer feels a little sharper in my hand, but they're basically interchangeable with Explorer being slightly more of a Teebird clone. But beyond hand feel, they both fly amazing. Take your pick.
The Claymore is definitely more stable than the Origin in stock runs, and the Midnight Prowl is definitely more flippy than the stock ones. You should pick up a Splice if you want a comparison with the Pioneer! For the most part, the discs actually are different, at least. They're more like siblings than twins. You should try more Latitude/Trilogy stuff, though. It's about all I bag these days and they make great stuff. [I might have to bring some more Discmania back into the bag, too]
Agree with this, if you are looking for similar flights to your Discmania molds, try a fuse against the origin, a non-opto X explorer vs the instinct and an honor against the FD3. That would be the best comparison in my opinion
@@theJHeykid I don't even bag a 9 more OS than the Honor. Between it and the 7-speed Glory, I have all of those shot covered better and comfortably than I ever did with a Felon or Pioneer.
If I could just bag all Trilogy, MVP and Discmania I would be very happy. Those 3 make the best plastic imo. The problem is I'm too used to other discs.
Why would anybody question whether or not that was scientific proof for which company was better? The discs were all the same color thrown by the same person on the same day. There were no variables other than the manufacturer. I'm convinced!
The truth is it's all marketing hype. There is only something like five actual plastic molding companies making everything. Do your research and instead of paying $30 for some new wiz bang destroyer with a fancy stamp grab that used Scorpius someone pulled from a pond for $4 and be amazed 😂
Lat64 is the biggest disc producer and makes almost everything. It all feels and flies almost the same, good quality and I guess that’s the point. All different brands/sponsors are just companies looking to capitalise on fans buying their players stuff and market their products (discs for the most part but might as well be anything). It helps the players a ton so I’m all for it. But PDGA should really look into the economy of discgolf to make it sustainable for players to compete. Now it’s all in the hands of sponsors making sustainable deals with players, pretty irresponsible from PDGA in my opinion.
Bro, you gotta get your production crew to block off roads and hold up "QUIET ON THE SET" signs while you're recording... or you'll continue to have bozos on motorcycles video-bombing your content. 😉Good info, all my Discmania has gone in the garbage.
Same mold designer for the same flights in albeit different lineups, produced (at the start) in the same exact place by the same people?... Exactly. Hejja Thomas Ekström, good stuff 🤝
Day 8 of Daily Vlogs ! 😎
You are killing it brother!
Nate, you should bag some trilogy!
I really like this concept of video! I love comparing what seem like identical molds
5:14 HAHAHA
Insane roller man
Also realy love my explorer !! Nice disc choice to battle with nate 😎👌🏼

Sick FH rollers is why the Pioneer has been a staple of my bag.
I love my explorer. It’s beat in to a really straight flip up with reliable finish.

I’ve said it before and I say it again right now. You should do a roller only round and try to shoot under par

@@theJHeykid I think you'd need to judge a Felon vs an FD3 if anything. The Honor is more like the Vanguard, IMO
@@mpbx3003 fair, it's one of the two, though my felon and honor are pretty close together for my arm

@@mpbx3003 definitely depends on feel. Honor has a little more dome and felon is a bit flatter
I used to throw Discmania. I'm Dynamic all day now, but I still bag my C-Line FD.
5:21 on repeat
You should get a gyropalooza box and do a round with just those discs
Video coming soon 👀
Owned by the same company and made at the same factory by the same machines.
stone cold strattla

Lazy Nate with a cameo!
The midnight prowl 1 is the flippiest of any origin I’ve thrown
💯
Question, why are you comparing opto to s-line? Should be c-line vs opto or s-line vs gold.... Unless you want lat64 to win... 🤔
house of disc.. illusion of choice.
Why would anybody question whether or not that was scientific proof for which company was better? The discs were all the same color thrown by the same person on the same day. There were no variables other than the manufacturer. I'm convinced!
Well it’s the same manufacturer aswell. Lat is the biggest disc producer and makes almost everything
Origin and claymore have very different diameters

Nate, how did u get ur hands on a midnight prowl like that?
Buritomafia760 on Instagram sent me one!
Not trying to be that guy but the Pioneer and FD3 have different flight numbers🥴

I throw an opto claymore and it’s $$$$.
So then the putter you’re using is pa3? lol. Sabotage…
Man this is why i hate flight numbers because they're all a lie 🤣
Fd3 9403
Pioneer 9304
Not the same numbers
9403 is not the same as 9304 😀

I’ve been saying this for a while, there is definitely correlation between the originals line and Latitude64…

Well they're using Latitude's old machines for one thing.
Still choosing the instinct over the fd1?
