Wow!!! My new favorite property on the channel. I love the character and craftsmanship of old homes. Way more impressive than all the $35M+ so called homes with the warmth of a shopping mall. Would love to see more like it.
Hi Enes and Mike! Although MCM architecture has my heart, I spent a lot of time in old, Queen Anne Victorian homes like this growing up. The curve at the top of each room is called, cove moulding. The thought was the geometry of the room was good for acoustics & would diminish echoing. In most wall applications it was made of board over lath plaster and troweled on by hand. On decorative and cornered areas it was almost always hand carved by a master plasterer. As are all the rest of the carvings you see through out this home. Nice to see an old gem built by true masters of the craft.
After one year I come here to watch this tour again! It's still my favorite one❤please do more tour of houses like this...historically and characteristic
The word WOW just left the planet. Never have I seen such respect to an architectural style . Yesterday today and the future just got married. Guys once again Bravo.
I love older homes like this that have been remodel an upgrade to accommodate today's life style. Then add the history of the home that is so cool an it makes this home super incredible. Then add the landscaping, pool area, guest home grounds an location an you have an amazingly majestic property to call home. What a dream it could be.
I'd look at this type of home all day! Modern same-looking mansions really aren't my style but all the historical character and features of this place make it absolutely shine.
Can’t say enough good things about this home. Preservation of historic details is perfect and updates are beautifully done. This seems almost under priced. It will be a joy to decorate once the staging is removed. I foresee a mix of period and contemporary pieces. The art studio in the pool house is an exciting touch. By the way there was no drywall 120 years ago. All the walls including the curvature near the ceiling were plastered over lath by artisans. This house is a masterpiece.
Love the gardens, so private and doesn’t feel like you’re in LA at all! It’s quite European. Good value for money in this home too. As you seem to get a lot for the money.
My 2nd comment: this video exemplifies the difference between a house… and a home. This is a home! I love this style of home and I appreciate your doing this video. Please do more!
What a lovely, lovely home … so much fascinating character!! I love the “eyebrow” entrance at the front, the spacious foyer, the rolling library ladder, the curved windows, etc, etc! I like the fact that the home, despite its age, doesn’t have a lot of dark wood. A fair amount (doors/baseboards/etc) has been painted white which makes it feel more up-to-date and not depressing or gloomy. I’d be more than happy with the guesthouse. 🇨🇦
This home is my dream home. I love, love, love, the style of it such character in every room. Stunning! I would buy it in a minute. Thank you for the video Enes.
Definitely L.A. Confidential from the front yard. Gorgeous home. Love the curves. Nice staging, though I'd love overstuffed furniture in the window nooks to make them cozier. Stunning place.
Thanks Enes for a fabulous tour. Your casual tour is one of the best. This home is by far the best home I have seen on either of your channels. The Renovation/restoration/Preservation on this home was done with the utmost care. I love it and if I had the money no haggling cash on the line and an extra 300,000 for the furniture. Simply stunning !!!!!
In spite of the size, this feels homey and comfortable along with it's spectacular looks. The modern homes are fascinating, but I could never imagine living in them. If the windows are original, some of the waviness is probably due to glass being liquid and slowly flowing downward. If you ever find a home designed with handicap accessibility in mind I would love to see it.
I think this is my favourite home so far..it looks like a home that people will actually live in and enjoy , not a clinical home with no soul like some of the more expensive homes that are just for show. Keep up the good work Team Enes!
It's the neighborhood. Hancock Park is surrounded on all sides by unsavory neighborhoods, in my opinion. The traffic is also extremely heavy around the area. It's just not a great part of LA.
This is my DREAM home. So many homes you guys view but this... this is fantastic 👏 👌 🙌 Working hard to try and have my own little dream home. Thank you for sharing - Marlene
A beautifully preserved masterpiece. As an architect, I am encouraged by the preservation of such historical and monumental buildings, allowing us to see and learn from brilliant architects, and be inspired by such good design and details. Every building tells a story.
i cannot believe this house exists!!! when I was in my last year in highschool, a friend of mine was planning to become an architect. She went to me and we designed my dreamhouse. Floorplan, exterior, backyard, all that, THIS HOUSE IS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO MY DREAMHOUSE!!!! Unbelievable 😭😭😭 i luuuuuv luuuv this house

Wow, thank you!
Wow, this is a beautiful house. Definitely one of my favorites! Love how modern and traditional styles are beautifully complimented.
The architectural details, windows, and trim work in this house are magnificent, love it. Great job showing it, as always.
Thank you very much!
OMG by far the best house i’ve ever seen. i’m a absolutely in love. amazing video!!
I love, love, LOVE this home! Wonderfully done, Mr. Yilmazer and please do more of these traditionell homes!
This home is my dream home. I love, love, love, the style of it such character in every room. Stunning! I would buy it in a minute. Thank you for the video Enes.
The breakfast nook! The trees! Love the character of this one. One of my favorites you've done.
Glad you enjoyed it!
what I love about this house is how it's still updated and yet some of its many characteristics are still kept after all these years. Love it!
I love homes with so much nature
me too
Absolutely gorgeous in every detail. Even the safety rail feature around the pool is chic and spa like.

Such a classic house..i love every small detail they've added to everything.. and the nature surrounding the house is just beautiful
I love this house. Liveable with a character.
I loved that mat that said “love lives here.” So important in a home and this was very beautiful. I’d love to live here with my family one day
Definitely L.A.
Just reading the comments and everyone agrees!!! Beautiful home and more like this please!
More to come!
This is my favourite home from now, it have nothing anyone won't like. 🤩 Beautiful timeless exterior, gorgeous curves and beautiful spacious interior.
Am I the only one who feels that the house should be worth more than that?
Agreed
Exactly
I was actually feeling like it's a bargain. If I were an L.A. gal I'd be on it.
No ! This rare find should be in the US$ 20+ million range.
It's the neighborhood. Hancock Park is surrounded on all sides by unsavory neighborhoods, in my opinion. The traffic is also extremely heavy around the area. It's just not a great part of LA.
I am blown away, this house is incredible!! I love that staircase😍 by the front entry, simply beautiful!!! 😍
This is my DREAM home. So many homes you guys view but this... this is fantastic 👏 👌 🙌
Working hard to try and have my own little dream home.
Thank you for sharing

This house is big Woow! So iconic I miss this design once again thanks Enes for this.
you are so welcome
One of the best house you've ever toured. It mixed classic and modern style, and deserved to be on main channel in my opinion ;)
I just said that too! Maybe my powerball or megamillion ticket will hit tonight. Id snap this up quick.
You haven’t even stepped inside and this is already my favorite home!
Wow,im surprise no celebrity bought this gem... wow im in love with it,just out standing..ty for sharing...
That door mat “love lives here” 🥰
:)
A beautifully preserved masterpiece. As an architect, I am encouraged by the preservation of such historical and monumental buildings, allowing us to see and learn from brilliant architects, and be inspired by such good design and details. Every building tells a story.
Out in structured settlement your subscription is ALWAYS worthy of itself Enes
Thank you so much!
i cannot believe this house exists!!! when I was in my last year in highschool, a friend of mine was planning to become an architect. She went to me and we designed my dreamhouse. Floorplan, exterior, backyard, all that, THIS HOUSE IS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO MY DREAMHOUSE!!!! Unbelievable 😭😭😭 i luuuuuv luuuv this house
This home is very different. I like the exterior it's like a unique piece of art. Very Nice home overall.
Glad you like it!
This is by FAR my favorite home you've toured! This is now officially my dream house lol
That house is my dream!! Can you imagine being a kid growing up there? Endless hide and seek potential! Can't picture any of the modern cubes getting the same kind of review in a hundred years....

This is definitely my fav home that you have shown. By far the most outstanding house. Even though it’s large, it looks and feels like a home.
This home has aged beautifully, & so well maintained.
I usually don’t like these older homes, but I love this one. So open, and surprisingly modern inside.
This house is magnificent, i like the Mix between old an new. It is the best house so far on your channel. You can feel the history of this house.
This house is beautiful! I love how they preserved all of it's rich history but modernised it in a really cool and apropriate way. Also $9M for a 9 bedroom house in LA sounds like a steal to me. :D
