This simple check and easy replacement is a job that really anyone can do.
ensure the engine coolant is COLD before any work on the coolant system on any vehicle is carried out.
Car worked on is a FORD - 43K miles - purchased brand new & dealer serviced - but they never spotted this.
If this was left would end up with zero coolant & a seized engine !
If you have any doubts about doing it yourself ask a someone who knows about cars.
The whole point to this VT - to to make you aware that Plastic parts in an engine bay - will not last !
Engines do get very hot - Rubber Hoses & Plastic parts can and do break down

It’s probably not the matrix, it’s probably the connection seals.

I have a similar problem flushed all old coolant and swapped the tank and the turbo to tank pipe, and over a couple of days it was dropping

Replaced coolant tank twice and it's still leaking somewhere else. Went to two different shops to pressure test it and they couldn't find a leak

Was it leaking underneath the vehicle? I changed my coolant reservoir lime you did in The last video, drove around for about 20 minutes and it’s leaking around that area. I was hoping it’s not the turbo coolant line but now after finding out about this problem I hope it is the turbo coolant line

Hello I have problem with my ford fiesta 1.4 2004 it has too much pressure on coolant it burst hose pipes and coolant tank or bottle 😢can any thing help

Don't you mean console not dash board it's a little low for dash board. Just happened to my mums car.

I had a leak where the lines go through the firewall, bad o ring.
But there’s another leak somewhere that I can’t find.

Do a smoke test - its easy to do ( google it on youtube )

@@idpfilm I’ve been monitoring the level over the past few days, seems to be resolved.
I think the drop in coolant level after the repair was due to air being purged out of the heater core.
I’m going to pray my exhaust manifold doesn’t crack like they seem to do quite frequently.
