Martha & Marvin Greene Memorial Plaque Dedication 2022

Sixty years after their untimely departure,
In the presence of their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren,
In a sacred place where young people can embrace their identity,
For the sake of the children, and generations to follow,
Martha & Marvin Greene are Forever Honored

Since October 1966, these two plaques rested above the entrance to the Greene Memorial Teen Lounge at Temple B'nai Emet in Montebello, CA. The Temple has been demolished, but the plaques were recovered by the Greene children, Sandy Taradash, Neal Greene and Fred Greene. This video is the dedication ceremony of the plaques new, permanent home at URJ Camp Newman in Sonoma County, CA.
We can think of no better place to continue the mission of these plaques, to honor, as a family, the best of who Martha & Marvin.
