  • FaceX is an organic facial bar located in Beverly Hills, California, that offers all organic, customizable facials from raw ingredients, like avocado, aloe vera, and herbs like sandalwood and licorice.
The customization at FaceX is all app-automated, including payment and facial selection. There are five signature facials to pick from and 172 customizable options for different skin types, making it a total of 177 facial options. The customization goes beyond the facial ingredients. Guests are able to personalize the facial room's lighting, music, and scent. FaceX offers 30-minute facials for $89 or $59 for members.
Insider's Caroline Aghajanian visited FaceX to try the Avocado Radiance facial for a discounted media rate. Caroline has combination skin, meaning she has both dry and oily skin concerns. The aestheticians at FaceX are able to tweak ingredients to best cater to your skin type. They are also trained to resolve any allergic reactions that may occur during the facial.
Insider visited FaceX in February 2020. FaceX is temporarily closed due to the ongoing pandemic, but for more information, please visit: www.thefacex.com/.

The price is low bc their backbar is mostly wholesale powders and waters, and avocado. Real facial companies use products with active ingredients and stronger extracts that actually make a difference in your skin but can cost more for the esthetician to stock leading to a higher costing service.

I do stuff like this at home on occasion, just the natural face masks, and moisturising etc, I mix honey, yoghurt, egg, saffron, turmeric and olive oil, and leave it on my face for 10 mins, great for winter drier skin. Or put some honey and turmeric in a ready made plain face mask, and sugar with facial soap as a scrub.

I don’t know how well that cleanser actually cleanses your skin. It’s just rubbing food and some squalene on your face. If it had any oils or actual soap in there then I would get it, but it doesn’t. And using raw ingredients isn’t as effective as using the extracts of said ingredients. I also don’t know how true it is that chamomile and green tea immediately stop allergic reactions in the skin. That mask they did was probably the only good part of this facial. Along with the micro current and led lights, but that’s a given for any facial. And even for the led lights, her face was completely covered! So I doubt the lights could have even helped!

True if someone is having a reaction to anything the solution is not to put more "natural" products on that someone can still be allergic to it would be to stop services and treat accordingly.

those of you looking into this.. as an Indian we’ve been doing this for thousands of years.. ayurveda is stg like this and we’ve been practicing it for thousands of years.. turmeric, neem, sandalwood powder, rose water, cucumber, aloe vera, liquorice, etc. are all common in ayurveda and indian traditional skin care.. as someone who uses this i’d recommend yall to just do it at home.. it’s cheaper anyway.. this shop is a literal indian diy ayurvedic skin care😂
