...nice one, Jeff...this '38 Olds L38 Coupe Sedan was considered a premium mid-priced car when sold... the identical J38 featured an in-line 6 cylinder and was produced on a slightly shorter wheelbase and chassis... ...this beauty, in Almond Green against those red painted steel wheels snd wide whites makes quite a presentation... ...and that wild dash (very tail end of the Art Deco influence in car design) and that massive banjo steering wheel are just awesome... ...the seating would have likely been a brushy mohair, but the brocade they chose, instead, looks perfectly fine... ...maybe it was just the camera angle...but that back seat appears to be a good 3 inches higher than the front... ...these 30:s cars are truly unloved by most collectors, so thanks, Jeff for giving this special car some love...
I love the color and details, such a rare jewel. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your videos, it always makes my day when I see a notification that a new video is out. Keep up the good work.
Nice! Someone took a ton of time restoring what needed a touch up; that dash is a beauty! Lots of great touches of design. Thanks for sharing this one, Jeff.
Great looking car, the grill looks intimidating, but very nicely styled as well. I have never seen this model of Oldsmobile, but it is a very nice example. I bet that paint really pops when in the sunlight. My dad had a '48 Buick straight 8, I only remember the unique sound of the engine. The dash is amazing looking. Thanks for sharing Jeff !!
That's a great looking Olds, Jeff. ! A lot of fun & cruising for the money.! A rare car indeed.! The last olds I saw that nice was on Mecum auction & it was a late 30's or early 40's and a convertible.! It was worth big bucks! Thanks for a great review on a true classic. !
Wow wow, 🦇 batmobile thats what i call this awsome oldsmobile and 8 cyl inline motor powerfull and big so beautiful colour gourgeus and inside absolut gourgeus 😎 😊 cool car 🤟 😊 dashboard from an airplane thanks jeff and Jordan for this video i enjoy every moment ✌️ ✌️ ☀️ 🤩 🤩 💎☀️🎶🏁from tom your friend always 🤩 🤩
Beautiful car. My favs will always be original late '30's/'40's art-deco cars. This one has one of the best dashes from the period. I sure hope the younger generations leave these cars stock. So many are being customized.
I really like the older autos from decades ago. I was born in 1955.
Hi Jeff,
That is certainly a nice Olds from yesterday,
Thanks for sharing.
Hey Michael, I appreciate you checking it out. I was really impressed by this one, especially the interior.

Beautiful art deco inspired car. Thanks for featuring this car.
I think for the Futuramic redesign in 1948, they took design inspiration from this '38 instrument cluster. Absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful car inside and outside ... love the patterned upholstery seats. :-)
Very Impressive front grill I would say it has a straight 8 cylinder like a Buick🤓
The grill really is impressive. Thanks for checking it out Jim!

Cool '38 .............. 👍👍👍

Very nice 👌
Thanks for watching Dale!
Cool old car
It blows my mind that an 80-85yr old car of which less than 2,000 were made would sell for only around 20k
That’s amazing
👍👌😊❤️
Thanks for watching!
Awesome car.
Thank you for sharing.
Is that a 3 speed?
Yes, it's a 3 speed. Thanks for taking a look!
