Oh, I´m late to the party, but just saw your next video, so I hope you´re fine again! Please take care of yourself! I had to laugh about your husband ... maybe he wants to stich too? There are so many "new" (for me they are new, I didn´t see them before) Chris dunn carts that are so lovely! Audio books, I loved to hear them too, but the technique often does not work, I´, borroing books from librarys and don´t ask me how often I could not listten the end! And I unfortunately had to recognize that I forget these books very soon in comparison to written paper books. I don´t know why, but I feel sad about that. Just now I read a thriller of S.A. Cosby, never heard of that man before, but he got some prizes for his books, and I have still not started that Halloween chart of Chris Dunn. Have a great stiching, knittind and reading time!

My favourite to work on his HEAD Mini Contessa. I love her. I have a favourite ever sampler that I really really can’t wait to finish and have up on my wall but don’t particularly want to work on and that is Ann Tong Uffindell. She is so beautiful. I am thinking that’s why I don’t want to work on her. I don’t really want to finish her. :) I love your projects. Especially Cheese Delivery. Chris Dunn is a genius.

My favorite project is Carol Singing Mice by Chris Dunn from PainefreeCrafts. I couldn't decide between Bedtime Stories or Simple Pleasures. Now I know. Love your progress and agree; I could never be a monogamous stitcher. I am sure that is why I kept quitting stitching.

Well, Elaine! You certainly asked a tough question. How can I possible pick a favorite chart - just ONE? I guess if I had to say which one is drawing me back to it the most lately, I'd have to say Kringles by Little House Needleworks. Maybe because I'd seen it around for so long before I actually bought it? Maybe because it's totally different than what I'm normally drawn to? -- My fave type of pieces to stitch are usually fancy ladies, but I do have very eclectic taste, so they're not ALL that i stitch. So - I'll leave it with that one - Kringles. Thanks for the book ideas. Could you possible list them in your notes? If not, I can certainly go back and write them down myself! LOL! (Just being lazy.) Hi Elaine, I really enjoyed The Morland series too and am gutted that she’s never finished the series. I believe the original plan was to bring it through to the present but instead she got sidetracked with her mystery series. I also enjoyed the SJ Parris books (and C J Sansom). Have you read the Kate Mosse ‘Carcassone’ trilogy? Highly recommend; books 1 and 3 especially and they can be read as stand alones. My favourite wip is whichever I’m currently working on, which today is Lust by Marta Dahlig charted by HAED but tomorrow will be different!

My favorite WIP is currently Hoity Toity by Long Dog Samplers. I have so many but at the moment I am working on complete the black stitches in it to make it easier to stitch the other colors. I have a lot of the top row done with all the colors but am focusing on the rest of the pattern now. I am using the called for DMC threads and I believe my fabric is 40 ct. I’m a little obsessed with Chris Dunn at the moment, haven’t started any yet but bought a couple after moving 6/7 in and out of the shopping basket for a few days. After the Chris Dunn rabbit hole I discovered Paine Free Crafts are close to me and have a shop, so can’t wait to visit when I have a weekday off!
My favourite WiP at the moment is I Am No Bird by Modern Folk Embroidery…. Because it’s at about 95% and just needs to be finished 😂

While I simply cannot pick just one favorite to me personally, my kids unanimous favorite would have to be my Mini Zombie Cats by Jeff Haynie charted by HAED. They call it kitty paw (as I only have the top left corner done so far), and are always asking to see it. I do have a favorite chart that I want to start, but I need to get the fabric for and simply can't afford it currently, which is Realm of Middle Earth (retired) charted by Tilton Crafts.

Hmmm, favorite WIP ( I'm just getting back into cross stitch after a long hiatus doing other stitchy things and then trying to balance grad school, children, and work with no time for stitching, so I don't have many to choose from). I think my favorite is the Goth Stitch-A-Long Temperature Cabinet 2022, which I'm doing to commemorate our first full year in our new home in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. So, I started this in January and am enjoying stitching all the books. Thanks so much for your videos!

Hi Elaine! I have just been bingeing WIP parades and am now catching up on everyone’s updates. You’ve stitched a lot! Morris Dancer is such an interesting Sampler - so much going on…..and I’m glad you managed to finish building the church in Salem. My favourite current WIP is Chinese Garden Mandala by Chatelaine….and let’s face it, it’ll continue being my favourite WIP for a while yet! 😁. Oh and The Drawn Thread gardens are so lovely. I might have a couple of those in my stash…and we definitely need a craft room tour.

Honestly, my favourite chart is usually what I am in the midst of. Right now my goal for 2023 is to make and finish 52 ornaments this year. Right now I am doing valentine and spring ornaments of Waxing Moon designs. They have all of the seasons covered in adorable animal scenes. So far I have stitched 9 and fully finished 1. Lots of fun still to come.

Fantastic flosstube - as usual. My hubby ‘bought’ me the Missouri Star Advent box - the look on his face when I told him he had bought it was priceless! I had made him up one with all fishing things in it so he was delighted and it was fun to open them together. Asking what someone’s favourite WIP is, is like choosing between your kids! Saying that, I think Christmas Garden by Blackbird is mine. I am nearing a finish and I will miss stitching on it. I have read so many of the books you mentioned - Lucinda Riley being my favourite. The last book in the seven sisters comes out in May and I have ore-ordered it! The Shardlake series was totally out of my wheel house but I loved them. My imagination ran riot. Huge books so not for the faint of heart 😂. Happy stitching and thank you for always sharing everything and doing it with a smile!

My favorite chart that I am working on is Once Upon a Fairytale by Aimee Stewart charted by HAED. It is the regular size but max colors. I am loving it and tend to work on it every day. Before starting this chart on Christmas Day I worked on lots of different wips. But lately this is the only one I want to work on. I just love the design, the colors, and watching it come together. I have one page finished, and half way through another. I am using the royal rows method that I saw on flosstube, with occasionally doing some cross country if there are close by symbols. I loved seeing your wip parade and seeing your progress this month. I love the color of the skirt on the Mary Needleworker project. Such a pretty shade. I love the project folder you showed. I use bobbins and think it would be fun to use one to stay organized.

I love my haeds but at the minute my fave that I’m working on are cryptid valentines ornaments from Lola crow cross stitch. I absolutely love all her patterns. She’s just released ghost valentine and crow Valentine pieces and I’m gutted because I put myself on a pattern ban this year! 🙈

Hi, I use Sulky white, it’s the best I’ve found for keeping my white stitches neat. You only need one strand as its about 1.5 times as thick as dmc
Great video as always, Cheese Delivery is coming along really well, it looks so good. My favourite chart at the moment is Bichon Frise from an Etsy seller, it’s in memory of my little stitching Buddy that I lost a little over a year ago. It reminds me so much of her and I can’t wait until it’s finished and I can put it in a frame in my room. I do have a new little stitching buddy and I named him Buddy, but I do so miss my lovely little girl Lucy.

You had me in stitches (no pun intended) when you said about your husband asking where cheese delivery was! My man the same, he has fallen in love with Chris art from me doing my x stitch and so when I’m not working on one, he like have you finished it yet 😂😂 I see you cracked and started simple pleasures! I can’t wait to start mine when this bleeding piece finished (which it’s not after this rotation) lol but soon hopefully. My favourite chart is Archer, artist Esmira charted by Paine free crafts. I have several Paine free charts in my wips. Just started this week the day and night Africa (retired) . I just reached 41% on Archer, and my daughter and I are both doing this chart. My daughter started at the top, and I started at the bottom. Love seeing your blackberry dragon piece. I'm so tempted to get that pattern. Thank you for another amazing video.

My favorite project is the red truck christmas stocking I got the pattern on etsy. it is really hard for me to choose just one pattern though.

My favorite project I am working on right now is SSMC Garden of Earthly Delights charted by HAED. I have been focusing on it much more this year. It it the largest HAED as far as I know, but the artwork is fantastic. It is a Hieronymus Bosch piece.

Hi Elaine! Congrats on finishing Salem Trials, that is a big finish to start the new year off with. The moon on Blackberry Dragon is looking fabulous! Simple Pleasures is so cute! I think this one will become my favorite of your full coverage pieces after Cheese Delivery. When you do full coverage, do you pull all the colors and keep them with the piece or do you just pull what you need as you are stitching it? Do you do your floss on floss drops or bobbins? Do you have a master set of DMC or just buy them for each project? I have fluctuated back and forth on what to do with the full coverage pieces because they are such long-term projects. I have purchased all the threads and kept them with the project in the past and it seems like they just sit there because I haven't been working on full coverage until recently. So far with my HAED Mini The Nativity, I have just been pulling the thread as I am using it so it is not gone from my master set. Wonderful progress on Cheese Delivery. Wow, 56% on it is great! That is so funny that your husband wanted to know why you weren't working on Cheese Delivery. That skirt is so massive on Mary, Mary Needleworker. I can imagine how boring that skirt must be to stitch. I love the fabric that your TraLaLa piece is on. My favorite WIP is a series by Stoney Creek called the Bird of the Month. The coloring is so natural in all 12 pieces. There is a lot of stitching in these small pieces (about 4 x 6 inches each) but they are stitching up beautifully. I have 1 finished and 3 more that are really close to finishes. Your purple project bag is beautiful! I just got a piece of 20 count linen Aida to try. It is an 18 x 30 inch piece so want to try a larger project on it. I have been curious about linen Aida so decided to try basically a quarter yard. I want to see if I like the coverage with 1 thread on that count. Who know what I will decide to stitch on it. I can definitely see you stitching and loving The Kitchen Garden. It appears to have all the things you are passionate about in it. The holders are really cute. I am going to need a nice holder if I ever finish Ecclesiastes. It is going to be so pretty if I ever get it done but will be something like 46 inches long. I hope your procedure goes safely and you have an uneventful recovery. I blame you and Darren for enabling me with Paine Free Crafts. I have a few I would like to stitch up on my list now. Today, Sunday, is Walter's 2nd birthday so went to his birthday part yesterday and then brought him home with me. He had so much fun although I have to say being in a house with 5 kids from ages 2-6 along with 9 adults is a bit overwhelming for me as I am just an old hermit who prefers to stay home, stitch, watch floss tube and TV, and pet my cat LOL! I finished another of my Stoney Creek Bird of the Month, October's Cedar Waxwing, and it came out beautifully if I do say so myself. I FFO'd it except for adding the lightweight interfacing to the back. Getting anxious to finish these this year so I can put them on my magnet board starting in January of 2024.

This is so interesting, you really made me think about what my favourite WIP is. When you first asked the question, I couldn't think which project I like the most. So I went through my WIP list and immediately one project got me excited - it's Lady Halloween by Jardin Prive. Hi Ellie! I always love watching your videos and seing your progress with "cheese delivery". I can't wait to see it finished! My favourite project is "Little girl walking upstairs" by Michele Sayetta and charted by HEAD. It represents a girl walking into a book and into a different world. It reminds me of myself as I love reading too and the idea of entering new worlds and living new adventures through books is just amazing!
