Introduction to Parts of Speech

Every word in the English language has a name.
All the names of the words are divided into 8 categories.
They are called PARTS OF SPEECH. Learning English is learning about the 8 Parts of Speech.
The Part of Speech of a word tells us what job the word is doing in a sentence, and when you know the ‘jobs’ of the 8 parts of speech, you will write and speak English correctly.
