Trying to launch a manual rwd car with over 700 horses: Good luck!
@@TechHead03 Yep, it was pretty difficult to score a decent time.
Its great that these cars are made and people buy them. You seldom see them on lovely country roads. Its mostly the guy in an old AU having ago. Can't wait for lockdown to end.
Finally ☺️ I've been waiting for a new one of these. Keep them coming ☺️
Exhaust note gave me a chub!
Great vid mate,cheers
Got the chance to ride in one of these on some good back roads Bloody hell its fantastic.
Ive got one great car so much power, lacked a little on sound tho so bought a corsa exhaust now the perfect car
What an amazing backroad, its heaven for driver
Nice vid, awesome car. People say buy a standard mustang and add a charger. This however will retain much greater value as it's one of only 500 built.
"4 minutes of pure pleasure" 🤩
Peak torque is almost certainly going to be the same 830nm as the US spec car since it makes the same power. We can say for sure it makes 687nm at peak power (7250rpm) which is very impressive.
Awesome sound and it revs to over 7000rpm, cool.
Managed to keep it in 1 piece, nice
Is that the royal national park?
10,000Nm 😁
Nice day to be a car journo PD! Good on you.
Thanks. Hope you enjoyed it.
You know thats technically correct if you specify that its wheel torque! For 1st and 2nd gear for sure! FYI... Say 800Nm x 1st gear ratio x final drive ratio ... roughly 13,000Nm id say
Right hand drive aswell✅
The strange thing is a modern 700hp goes as well as a old school 450hp car. Ive proven that over and over
What happened to the slower vehicle ahead @02:34??? Double lines??
Different shot. We did multiple runs to get the footage - we don't have 18 GoPros like the big shows.
ANCAP: Its 2020 and you latest car has a 1 star crash rating
Ford: 700HP
actually, it has a 3-star rating.
How is this engine different to the FPV 5.0 supercharger? Anyone?
This is the latest version of the Coyote (gen. III), the FPV Miami was based on the gen I. The supercharger setup is also completely different. The FPV unit was locally designed, this is a Roush supercharger.
Direct injection.
Someone dynoed it and got 432 nowhere near 522
The 522 would be at the crank, not at the wheels
So they definitely make 522+ at the flywheel then
please dont show the back of the car while driving
Where is this road 😍 I need to take my ST on it
nasho mate
Wow wow wee...c'mon fight for grip mustang ..fight!
10000NM ??
It's a joke
Over priced. Better off buying the standard car then taking it in yourself and getting the engine tweaked the way you want it.
what a crap place to show us this car !! what's wrong with the highway ?? and damn if only this came in the much faster auto trans !!
Thanks for the feedback - this is a new style of video we're trying out.
A straight-line 0-100, 0-200km/h video is coming soon.
Are you scared of corners?
@@danielace4699 Not at all , i race track days in my BF R-Spec auto. Sports mode ensures that boost stays on full with no clutching .. Car is quicker than the same one in manual & on the drag strip :)
I wouldn't pay $100k for that..so .. boring design.. just get a v8 commodore for that sort of money.. even 90s commodore has better design..
Nice car but its too heavy on fuel. Its fuel consumption is close to a Nissan Patrol consumption
What do you expect, no one buying a supercharged coyote for fuel economy nor do they even care. That’s why the Ecoboost Mustang exist for people who like the looks and want a manual while achieving good fuel economy
Well don't buy it.. get a corolla. Here we go again.... its direct injection V8 S/C. The non s/c one does about 13L/100 (official) that's pretty dawn good for a high output v8 engine. It is amazing no one ever says the twinturbo V8 BMW'S use so much fuel because any car with 400kw and 600nm etc will use a lot of fuel.
