This album is a spectacular, and beautifully composed masterpiece. It’s wonderfully English. I thought only the French were cool enough to have contemporary French culture but this album has the same effect. It’s a really beautiful album and I listen to it on the Northern line every morning to work

I have watched metronomy grow as an American and I haven’t found love more. This album speaks to me in particular. I’m pretty sure Joseph Mount has single handedly created the best music of the early 2000s and I’m proud to be a listener of it all UGH
Still remember listening to Heartbreaker in my parents basement back in 2008... no one I knew really got them back then and even now I feel lucky to be one of the few people in my circle to know and appreciate this funky electronic pop group with the sweetest of bass lines 🎶🎵🎸
